DRY Group BUY from cnqualitygoods.com

Yea.... If I don't get ahold of ric in time to change to Version A then its no biggy... I'll be super happy with either one, I'll just have to keep my friends/family away from my DRY :P

if you change your mind you could just buy the other driver and swap. I'll be buying some version A drivers at some point...

why oh why must i have this dry.

The fear of this group buy ending before i've had the time to weigh all the pros and cons has made me just order the damn thing

ordered:

Version A with step down

Holster

3x Sanyo batteries.

Thanks Ric!

Got my order conformation todaySmile

Aoyue2702 Isn't that a make of pcb re-work station?

Sure is... It's one of the re-work stations I own.

Now that I think about it, kinda wish I had choosen version B. Oh well . . . I'll just have fun with non-flashaholics by telling them that it is so powerful, the light would self destruct (rapid gaseous expansion event with flame, i.e.,explosion) in 25 seconds and the 5 second safety margin was all that could be negotiated with undercover Chinese military export operatives.

These same operatives secretly control all US bond purchases and the CIA suspects they also influence Chinese currency manipulation . . . . the US goverment thinks they use an algorithm originally sourced from a BLF member with multiple personalities. (Boaz) The formula uses an extrapolation calculator based on user preferences for unlimited amps drawn/high drain custom drivers, "innocently" installed (E1320, Match, Tido) in high performance flashlights. Illegal Paypal tranfers have been traced to flashlight double agents, assuming civilian identities from around the world (2100, CoolPerl, FLashlight Foy, old4570) that then post "reviews" of these lights with coded messages woven into the dialog. These messages are often the only thing that stands between an armed confrontation between our two hemispheres.

Flashlights are more critical to our survival as a species than people imagine.

Oh great, I signed up to this forum just so I could get a flashlight. Just my kinda luck. Now I will have to convince some government type that there are great big bears in the Sacramento Valley that I need this flashlight for. Thanks a lot guys.

Id like one version A with holster and 3x Sanyo batteries, should be 88$, do I add nickname too or only "BLF DRY Group Buy"? Thanks

Ordered mine the other day, NW, version B and 3 sanyo's....probably order some hi-max protected for it when it arrives.

Isn't someone on the site looking at doing some kind of short run upgrade parts, copper I believe? (thought I read something somewhere...)

Start your message BLF DRY group buy then list EXACTLY what you want. Nickname not needed.

Why are so many people buying the neutral white? Is it that much better?

Depends on the use, personally for me yes. The light doesn't seem quite as bright (a none issue with 5a to 3 xml's!) but the colour rendering is far better I feel.

I'll be using it mountaineering so colour rendering can be a huge advantage.

got a bc40 but i want something brighter, and then found out about this group buy, decided to join this forum, count me in if you guys are still open

can someone give me a lowdown of how to order? do i just go to product page and mention BLF group buy?

Just put in an order for 1 NW Ver B with 3 x Sanyos. Thanks for the group buy!

Just read the first post,

transfer money to his paypal account while stating BLF group Buy

Then with extra information note the specific model you want (driver, cw,nw or ww) holster/no holster
and pay the responding money.

Then when he ships your order you will recieve a e-mail!

Cheerz ;)

I'm considering this offer but my Skyray 3 mode has been ultra-reliable so far. It pulls 2.85a at 4.2v rising to around 3.5 for the majority of the runtime with a proper buck circuit. It drops less than 3% in the first 2 minutes (after my homemade heatsinking) and outputs 1800 dropping to around 1750 lumens when warm according to my measurements on max.

I prefer the form factor of the Dry but can't get over the overdriving of the LEDs on max. PWM for all the lower modes isn't ideal either, I just don't see what it would give me over the SR3800 (maybe I'll only realise when the driver blows on it) but then I have a TR-3T6 driver for back-up anyway.

BLF DRY Group Buy

1x DRY 3xCREE XM-L T6, Neutral White, Driver type A, $75

Why are questions about PWM frequency not being answered?

Ric can you please answer the questions raised by myself and many others?

I have to say this is a very strange way to conduct a group buy..
