GearBest Shipping methods?

I placed an order March 7th, and the shipping number doesn’t work. So i contacted customer service via email and they keep saying don’t worry it’s coming, but also there is no shipping number for my package so there’s is no way to track it, AT ALL. I stressed to them that I need one because it’s crazy how it’s about to be APRIL and I still have not gotten it, I really want what I paid for. I really hate this. They said 10-15 business days, I’ve waited basically this whole month, where is it? I feel like I’ve been ripped off! What do I do because I still want the product….

Don’t feel bad, I’m still waiting for my order from Feb 14th and they say I have to wait until April 14th

Same here, I ordered a S2+ on Feb 14, no sign of yet and they’re telling me to wait until April 15th. Meanwhile I got a bunch of Banggood stuff in 3 weeks.

Same here … waiting for a Convoy S2+ UV ordered 2/17/17.

Gearbest stated that it might take up to 35 working days to receive my order.

Great deals to be had … trade off is the wait.

Yup, I learned my lession with gearbest - with anyone else free shipping is fast enough, but with them I pay the extra $2 for the faster shipping option.

Same here as well.

Still waiting for the order I placed on Feb 13th. Lesson learned here.

I’ve had NL post take close to two months before. Product went on a sight seeing trip through Europe and Turkey of all places, on it’s way to Michigan. Of course it had to stop and rest in NY for two weeks before finally making it to Michigan.

Wow, that is taking the long way home. :person_facepalming: . I guess it needed rest after all that, thus the layover in NY……… :wink:

I did pay for tracking and expedited shipping before, only to learn that shipping didn’t work out. At some, random point after delivery the ID showed up on the system. To me this appeared like an insurance for the shipper rather than the buyer.

Afterwards I only used free international flat rate shipping and everything showed up within 21-29 days.

I’m not lucky like that, 3 of my orders still some where nearly 2 months after shipped . Gearbest gave me some untraceable numbers such as:

Tried to contact with CS but no help because I think they don’t know about this tracking number too.

No joke, I GOT THE EXACT SAME NUMBERS!???
And hey don’t work for any shipping numbers at all!
They are squat, why the hell do they send them at all??

Your tracking number says this on sky56.cn

However from tracking several items I can say that sky56 tracking is basically estimated/fabricated. When they say the item arrived in US they are just guessing that it takes 8 days.

They are not necessarily in the US. Sky56 tracking appears to be just a guess. They assume it will take 8 days to go from China to US, so they just add on exactly 8 days (note the identical time 2:29PM). Unfortunately it is not reliable.

The useful information is that the parcel exists, they posted it and it appears to leave China on 10th March.

But as you can see, the USA arrival is again exactly 8 days after Transit Center. Transfer of customs is exactly 3hrs40 - same as above. It’s clear they are fiddling the numbers and just ‘guessing’ when parcel arrives and how long it takes to go to customs. I noticed it when I compared several of my parcels.

At least I hope it is just a well-intentioned guess and there is nothing underhanded about it. But you never know with Chinese.

If you have a tracking number, grab the android app AfterShip. It auto detects shipping carriers and works with a ton of carriers. If you didn’t get a tracking number AND you contacted them AND it’s over 21 business days, then open a PayPal claim.

To update: I waited 60 days as requested and my order of S2+ never came.

To Gearbest’s credit they re-shipped the item and it arrived last week. So their customer service was OK and I will continue to use them.
