Can you please have a look at my ticket T17033106379.
I bought a Brother 1602 (item 208237501) and the knife I received is defective from the factory.
The knife has no detente at all and therefore has nothing holding the blade in place when in the closed position.
This makes the knife unusable and actually dangerous.
I disassembled it to see what was wrong and the detente hole was drilled too wide so the detente ball sit at the bottom of the lock bar instead of being raised and doing its job of keeping the blade secure in the closed position.
I opened a ticket and provided the video and photo below and after a whole 2 weeks, your customer service determined that there is nothing wrong with the knife and are offering 50 GB points which is unacceptable!
Can you please look into this and get a replacement of a knife that is not defective sent to me asap?

Wow, that’s ridiculous! What a horrible customer service. I certainly won’t be purchasing from Gearbest until I hear they’re fixed your issue.

Sounds like standard procedure going on (same with Banggood). What seems to work is to stay calm, explain them that you cannot accept their offer. Explain the same thing over again: knife is (too) dangerous to use, and product is not as described or should be etc. It may take some back and forth messaging. I’ve read about these cases regularly, so hopefully you’ll be successful. Good luck.

I am not interested in a partial refund and GB points!

There is a detente hole on the lock bar that is drilled a bit smaller than the detente ball.
Then the detente ball gets press fitted into the hole with usually half of the detente ball or so sticking out.
The half sticking out then fits into the hole on the blade when the knife is in the closed position.
That’s what hold the blade inside the handle when the knife is closed and prevents the blade from opening any time.
In this case, hole too wide -> detente at the bottom of the lock bar -> nothing sticks out -> noting holds the blade when the knife is closed -> blade can just open at any time when in the pocket -> cut
Also, this is a flipper, so it’s supposed to flip.
Without detente, it can’t.
