My new collection of 50+ Chinese knives

I bought this smaller Enlan for curiosity, but I still prefer the bigger ones.

Wow that looks awesome, Ive never seen that model before...

Can you pls let me know where you ordered it? I could not find anything with that model name on Google...

I found it at Ebay. There's also a camouflage alu handled version with a plain satin blade (M018CA).

One of my favourites from the middle size category is the Navy K502 (more pics in my blog):

Flash,

Finally my Ganzo G710 has arrived. In two words: highly recommended!

More pics in my blog.

I've been avoiding the link in your sig like the plague...have always been a knife hoarder, but have tried to avoid the Chinese market as much as possible. I guess just because of "knife snobbery" and general reputation of Chinese produced garbage. LOL

CRKT has been my personal fave and EDC for years now, but their quality has been going to crap. Have retired my beast M16-14ZSF that I carried horizontally at my back simply for the need of a multi-tool more often. That rarely saw use anyway and I used my M16-13Z that's clipped in my front pocket for almost everything.

Have recently been eyeing Böker's Magnum line and have to admit that the quality is amazing! And now I have broken down and clicked your links...I'm screwed... Will probably have at the least an EL01 ordered by the end of the day. (have just gotten so used to that flipper that I'd be lost without it)

A wise choice, if you want my opinion.

I've got a black Sanrenmu 939 on order from this excellent ebay seller, doingoutdoor. Paid $13.50 shipped. I wanted one in silver but no one had any. How does the black hold up?

My small but growing Chinese collection

Please, more opinions/comments about ganzo 710 before i buy it.

thanks!

You guys made me order six knives in the last two days.

Here is what i get from Exduct, Dinodirect, doingoutdoor and Manafont:

Enlan: EL-01, EL-02B, EL-03A

Sanrenmu: 939 black, 710 black

CRKT: small fixed blade: http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/crkt-stainless-steel-knife-black-shealth-p-7112

I dont know if this one is genuine. Any comments on that?

If anyone wants to order from exduct: PM me, I'll give you a 5% coupon code.

The CRKT is not genuine - this one is:

http://www.crkt.com/Ritter-RSK-Mk5

Differences: For example the 4 cut on the handle. The cuts on the genuine are really small - the manafont version are much bigger.

If it has a bad quality, you lost only $4.

I'll see if it can be sharpened to decent sharpness. I don't care for the $4, so it's no problem if it can't.

Im more excited for the Enlan and Sanrenmu knives, as they are told to be of really good quality.

I have the Enlan EL-01 and EL-02B and both are really nice. The Enlan is a little bit to heavy for me, but the quality is relly good. The EL02B is great, because is looks differnet to others, because it has the stonewashed finished blade and is much thinner as the EL02.

Which ones you got from DD and MF?

Christ! That's quite a collection of knifes you have there! Thanks for showing!

I got the EL-02B and the EL-03A from dinodirect.com. There are $5 gift codes you can use on orders above $30 and I had a $5 gift card and a few dinopoints. So I paid only $24 for these two knives shipped with tracking number.

At Manafont i ordered the Sanrenmu 710 and the fake CRKT.

Navy K-631s, Ganzo 710, SRM 939 and SRM T-01 are my current favs. I have about a dozen others and 19 more on order.
Right now I would say the SRM 939 is a must buy. It may not be around much longer and it is a great EDC. That blade shape is ultra useful and the entire knife is a slick design. Only small con with it is the clip is only tip down and the clip flares out too much at the end. If this was aluminum handled with a Spyderco type blade hole and tip down, it would be a perfect knife and I would buy all there were in the world.

Been looking at the 939 too, only thing that sort of puts me off is black paint on blade, I will be using it as food knife when outdoors and wouldnt want any kind of paint chipping off and into my food.

The grey 939 one was also coated. I think the chances of nitrate coating chipping in "normal" food prep is not that big of a deal. I just like the looks of the grey one better. (having access to both versions)

My silver 939 had a bead blasted finish (which I polished up a bit) without any coating.

I meant if it was a tip up carry it would be better.
