Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

This has been my daily for a few weeks now, time for a swap around i think!

Very nice Ven. Love the band!

Thanks Glenn, I kind of like chunky bands, 6mm thick so a nice weight. Have same strap on the 009 as well, prefer it to the hollow feel jubilee bracelet.

You should try a Lumpy strap, real nice and heavy.

Thanks, had a search and it looks just like the super engineer 2. I have something similar on a citizen(only 20mm on the citizens, Seiko 22mm)

I might get the curved engineer 2 for one of the seiko’s as i really like the look on them.

I have the 22mm lumpy (curved links) on my modded monster. Really like the feel

Very nice geuzzz :+1:

Here is my Apple Watch, V1. It has a Spigen case protector on it, and a green Apple watch band.

My new SE Amphibia:

Dang it, the very day I see this thread is the one when I forgot mine at home! :person_facepalming: I’ll see if I post it this evening.

Still wearing only the 816.351 of my Sea-Gulls.
Has been running on my wrist for what, I think 5 years now?

Most days I don’t wear one, but when I do, it’s this one…

Here we go.

That’s a Casio 5028, easily my oldest surviving wristwatch to date. I honestly can’t remember how old it is, but I’m sure it’s a 2010 model at the latest. Sturdy as heck, faithful and comfortable like a dream when properly adjusted… Although the wristband can get smelly with time :confounded:

I do have a few but currently I’m stuck with this.

super bargain on chinese version of “super engineer II” watch band

the ‘real’ ones are like $110, this is like $25
for some reason you have to pay in brit pounds but that is easy with credit card
(seller is in hong kong i think is why)

I have one of those on the way to me for my brushed Amphibian. I hope it won’t disappoint me.
What’s about the overall fit and finish of your one? As I know the sides are polished. Was it easy to resize?

—no, you will surely like it…

—fit and finish is perfect, adjustment - the adjustment links are attached via screws, which is unusual but no harder than the usual push-out kind

==it;s very heavy, ends are polished

==did you already have one ordered ?

( i just could not see paying $110 for a watch band, this was the perfect thing for a $150 watch)

wle i have one of those, UK ebay price was around £80…………same exact bracelet obviously imported from HK (which i did)

I have been wearing my citizen quite a lot(good few weeks…………months) with that bracelet .

it does look the same, even the ‘stainless steel ’ stamp is the same font

right now they seem to be at // Price:GBP 20.38 // Approximately US $26.20

they make any watch look good…though that citizen is pretty to start with…
yours has picked up dirt and scratches, just like mine, and it still looks good…
i would be leery of a black one though, would probably show scratches too much

My edc for 25 years.
Been down to 140’. Down on most every sport diving wreck off south Florida. Almost pulled off my wrist by a huge jack I speared in my rookie days of spear fishing. Getting a little old looking but keeps on ticking.

Last year its main spring broke so had an estimate from Rolex for $1500 for a repair and 5 year cleaning it has never gotten. Brought it to the Seybold jewelry Building in Miami, found an old Russian guy that had worked for Rolex with Rolex certificates on his wall. He did a cleaning and mainspring for $250 while I waited and watched. There are a lot of little tiny parts in that watch, I was surprised he got it all back together again, I never could of done it, even if my life depended on it. He even checked the calibration and said it was within 1 second. To me it seems to lose a minute a month…
