Wow thats pretty cool. Good find. You really got me wanting to upgrade my l6 now. I would just need to get a clear cover, small leds, and would loose LVP. I like to use protected cells when they’re in series anyway, so no big loss there. Hmmm
I just got some clear covers from Simon. He only charges for shipping. Or he can include some with a regular order.
1206 leds are pretty easy to find if you don’t mind waiting for delivery from China.
I don’t know if I will use both power and indicator leds. I may just use the power one, so I can use version 1.2 of Narsil and keep the LVP.
I just want to know if the rear switch is on and where the side switch is located. The power led should do that.
I think the indicator led is what blinks battery voltage and other stuff. I don’t know all the details on that, but I can probably do without it. To be determined at a later date.
Thanks for the support of our service budgetlight community in using our stencils at https://www.oshstencils.com
Just a heads up that we also sell solder paste in syringes, similar to the one shown here. We carry only high quality paste for reasonable prices, and are proud to see many of these designs come through our site.
Let us know if you have any questions!
You could post a new thread in the commercial section to give people a heads up on your service. Many do not know such a thing exists.
I have ordered from you several times when I used to build these drivers, all the orders were quick and worked perfectly. FAR FAR easier then trying to apply the paste by hand and much neater.
I have tried both the stainless steel and the plastic versions of the Stencils and both worked well. The plastic is fine for small batches but for large batches the stainless steel is worth the upgrade IMO.
The hardest thing I had to face was lining up the Stencil with the round pcb. If I was going to make large amounts of these I would order them as a panel to make that much easier.
Overall I highly recommend OSHStencils if you will be building more then 2 or 3 drivers.
Atm I got all 30mm boards taken, 1 is not payed yet
I ordered 5 30mm boards and LDO more than were requested at that time
as I expexted more L6 will be asked for, but now they seem to be gone
I did even got some more Attiny 85 and and FETs to get more than 50 drivers, but the parts are only for 59 and limited sizes now, check the Excel sheet screenshot for what is now left
I expected today a new syringe of lead solder paste as the last was shit with separated flux from tin, I hope it comes tomorrow and I can go in production this weekend
Today I got 12 17mm, 3 15mm, 3 22mm, 3 38.5mm, 6 21mm
so only 12 more 17mm are not delivered
More 17mm are expexted to come in about 10-14 days
Paypal and PM sent as discussed
Thanks
Ok, since the 30mm are gone I’ll buy the remaining 38.5mm built the same as the one you’re already building for me including LDO but with the temp at 70c. PM me the price.

I have no additional LDOs so ordering more 30mm boards make no sense
I have made the notes how to modify the LDO for you
the other 38.5mm populated board would be 13$
as the 3 boards are already covered by you and BobbyMK and I got only infineon FETs left that are a bit cheaper than the SIR800
Ok, in that case could you build the one already ordered with an infineon and the remaining board with the sir800? In other words, the board set up for 60c with the infineon and the one set up for 70c with the sir800?
new solder paste arived and prooves to be good
first 10 30mm ones are ready
as I got only 200 AMC7135 from 500 received so far I will complete the first orders as there are enough to make boards
the 10 30mm fitted with AMCs and 10 more boards ready, but I am out of AMC7135 chips for now
doing more boards not fitting the AMCs now
human solder paste printer
more boards reflowed just missing the AMCs
Haha , awesome !
I have been doing the same thing , who needs stencils
Looking real good. Thanks for all the updates.
Looking good!
Great :sunglasses:
and again 9 boards reflowed
so a lot reflow work done after almost 8 hours
a pitty that still so many AMC7135 are not delivered
also 17mm boards I ordered later are not here yet
there are now all drivers gone, but if enough people want more drivers we can start an interest list from now on for a new batch
drivers with AMC7135 bank up are completly populated, MCU upside no AMCs
Updated Excel table
Lexel; Glad to read you may do this again. I’m in need of drivers to build triples for my 2 Jaxman E2L hosts. Have two 219b 4500K & several 219c 5000K LEDs from clemence that need homes. May try mixing tints.
I like ToyKeeper’s UI in the BLF A6 and now so much more has been developed by the amazing people on BLF. Will read up on all the options you have once another run is a go.
Thanks to all sharing their expertise on BLF, it is magic.

Sorry I’m late to the party.
If you do another round, I would be interested in a couple of 17mm drivers. Please add me to “the list”. Thanks!
I’ll be interested in a few more too!!
Looking good Lexel!
Still in need of a L6 driver so sign me up.
for next batch please use this topic
As the deamnd for those driver is still there and my 2. batch is already sold out before I have shipped the first driver, I am going to do another batch if enough BLF-lers are interested, you may spread the availibility of those drivers on other forums, but I am not planning to go into mass production Bistro-HD OTSM can be ordered in next batch, as it needs special parts and is hopefully bug free If you want fully assembled and tested drivers reply here Flashed and thermal calibrated MCUs a…
