Review: Manker E02 (AAA, L shaped, XP-G3 200+ Lumens)

well, I seldom use a clip on my AAA’s so I have at least 12 of them in a drawer, somewhere. :exclamation:
I bet I can find one that will fit that is shorter and will do what i want.
I just ordered a red one XPG3 (want ALL of those 220 lumens for a glorious 3 min light show)

…but the problem is that …. JetBeam Jet-u not offers 135 lumens.

Ok trevi. Any comment on tint....i'm going to buy this one (undecided for nichia) and a k18 2017 once a deal will be available. I wonder how cool this xp-g3 e02 is...how many traces of blue have or if it is very ice white (as review said for 2016 version k18) compared from ultratac.

I see lots of blue in this review

Yep. Anyway since monitors can represent colors differently i asked for real life opinion to him and the OP also others who have that light already.

So, should i buy a red or a grey one?
Hmmm… :innocent:

It was red nichia 219c for me, but it looks like there is a pretty even split between the reds and the greys bought so far. Mostly nichia though, only a couple XPG3s so far.

I like the red.
I don’t have red flashlight
should be easy to locate if dropped or misplaced.
Looks good

What the heck. Get one of each!

Thank for review budda

Looks like will be ny second l shaped after armytek tiara

Manker, do you have a timeline for the release of the AA version?

Haha, yeah, maybe eventually…
Ordered a grey one with XP-G3 yesterday.

got my red XP-G3 today, very small form factor, almost hard to handle with the top switch, might prefer side switch on this

I love the UI as it goes from L-M-H-M-L very nice, much better than L-M-H-L-M-H, they all should do this

I absolutely HATE the clip, it’s very substantial and holds well
butt my requirement on this style light is to clip onto my shirt pocket with the light sitting in my pocket & the light shining outward
I prefer the light to be secured inside my pocket. I would never require a reversible feature to mount on my cap shining straight down.

If the clip could be shortened to enable it to swivel it around to the front of the light, then this could be a very useful tool.

Where are you located? Mine has not even made it into the US yet, but it has only been a tad over 2 weeks.

As far as the clip goes, it looks like the clip can be rotated roughly 180 degrees easily, it sounds like the U shaped part of the clip interferes with the head? Sorry to hear that, as it does reduce the versatility of the light. I assume when you talk about shortening the clip, it is this U shaped part you are meaning? Maybe if enough people contact Manker about this they will redesign this clip It does not seem like there is any reason for the U shaped portion to be as long as it is . . .

I’m in a no-train, no-airline, gotta-be-going-there-place on the western coast of USA
I am happy tho that I got this so quick, it’s not typical.

interesting, I am in coastal So Cal.

Manker said the E02 can use a 10440 Review: Manker E02 (AAA, L shaped, XP-G3 200+ Lumens) - #29 by Mankerlight

Has anyone tried it?

Just got my red Nichia last night. Great little light!

Tint is slightly warmer than my Manker-made Astrolux A01, so it’s definitely in 4000K territory.

Loving the LMHML mode and the fact that it ramps up or down during brightness mode change, not the usual abrupt, discrete jump.

That sounds cool, I have never heard of this.
Is this available on other lights?

rats, mine still has not made it to the US, much less to my house.

Meteor M43. I thought it had something to do with preventing overshoot with boost drivers. Perhaps not specifically required for such a small light, but for the sake of coolness?
