Arrived 06/30 Klarus light by warranty (updated thread)

I will try this, thanks :+1:

You’ve certainly done your due diligence and given them enough time to respond. I hope Klarus steps up and honors their warranty.

I have decided not to participate in the Klarus group buy until they do. restocked: Klarus G35 - #81 by M4D_M4X - BLF User Negotiated Deals - BudgetLightForum.com
You might want to post your experience in all the active Klarus threads you can find on the internet. Then maybe their lack of sales will force them to finally act responsibly.

Good luck!

Just a follow-up to Steamers post… I dont think Franz (in Brasil) should need to jump through hoops with a US supplier to attempt warranty repairs. If thats what it takes, I hope it works. Klarus still needs to start supporting its global customers and not turn its back on them.

Yeh, sadly that’s what it took in my situaion. And I haven’t been on board with any Klarus products since.

Sad to say, that’s why I generally don’t buy lights expensive enough to need any warranty. When you hear of horror-stories like this, VoB and his experience with Jetbeam, etc., you realise those lights ain’t Convoys, and there ain’t any Simon to go to.

I hate reading about those who have been ripped off. I just posted my thoughts in the Klarus GB thread. If others feel strongly about trying to effect change for the better, maybe they can leave their comments as well: restocked: Klarus G35 - #81 by M4D_M4X - BLF User Negotiated Deals - BudgetLightForum.com

You could PM Klarus Tactical Flashlights on this forum. When I suggested that they should post their spam in the appropriate (Commercial) forum they were quick enough to PM me.

Got screwed on my first and only Klarus purchase last year. Never again.

Thanks FlashPilot, I will leave a reply too.

We need to stay together, only in that way those companys will respect us

Thankyou so much :+1:

Yes, its really painfull when you pay a good amount and got a huge frustration with a crap product :rage: :confounded:

I will tell again, all companys have issues and any product is subjected to fail by some factory problem but high rates of problematic products indicates only two things: low quality or undersized components and this happens for one purpose: the OBSOLECENCE!

We especially now with the huge amount of trash generated all days, we need reliable products which last long, LAST LONG, but the “green” factorys only make trash with counted life…… :confounded:

Without PM, I posted my madness in their topic without mercy!

All costumers deservers to know what you pay for!

Yep, that’s why I don’t pay obscene prices for fancy lights. My L2 is my most expensive light, I think, but if anything went wrong, I know I’d have backup both here (info, suggestions) and with Simon (buy parts), or just refit as needed on my own.

I feel sorry for you, I know the taste of this :confounded:

What a brilliant way to keep customers happy!

My XT12GT was faulty and banggood sorted me out really quickly fortunately. I’d hate to have had to have dealt with Klarus on it. It wouldn’t have been great as my light died before most people around the globe managed to get their hands on one. I was fortuante to get one from BG to do a review on and it was one of the first they shipped out. I think BG did Klarus a huge favour by sorting me out so quickly otherwise I’d have been there slagging them off before anyone (well, most people) actually got their hands on one.

Lets hope they do the right thing and post in this thread.

My G30 suffered the same fate last year. I used less than 15mins combined. Fortunately, I managed to get back 50% of what i paid.

That’s not what I’d call great Customer service…

That’s what I’d call utterly appalling.

If I went to Amazon and said hey this £200 phone i bought from you has worked for 15mins making calls and now it is just a paperweight” and they said “ah dont worry, have £100” I’d be furious.

I know you take the risk ordering stuff from “far away” but at the same time it should work and continue to work. My TV is from “far away” as is my phone, my tablet, hell my bed is probably made 1000’s of miles away but we expect stuff to work.

I’ve been offered 50% for something that arrived broken and I told them where to go. It’s happened a few times and I don’t get the logic. Why would I be willing to pay a company for something that is no use to me and I’ve got to throw away?

Tried sunwayman many times
Anf after months they responded
Tried pm on BLF yet? That usually helps speed things up

Shame klarus customer service sucks, that shouldnt be like that, useless company
