I went back and forth between the much higher output xpg3 and the nichia. So at this price I opted to get both. Iām not a fan of the rings and color bands of the xpg3, but outside it really doesnāt matter. I too wasnāt fully convinced from the listing that the 18650 tube wasnāt included, just that the battery wasnāt.
I donāt have any 18350 IMR cells, so what going to be good? Iām sure Mte Windyfire cells would be great, but those arenāt currently in stock. Also, itās usually safest be to get button top since I donāt know if the light as physical polarity protection, but will flat tops work as well?

Well I ordered one but thought is was a 18650 flashlight. Not a big issue can order an extension tube. But if its an 18350 write it down.

Maybe that means only 0.1h on turbo before stepdown 
Well, shoot I could buy that to some degree, .01hrs or a 36sec turbo stepdown, seems reasonable. I would expect then to see 8 durations listed for the 7 different levels, but it is 7 and 7.
I am liking this style light, having the S41(219B) & S41S(XPG3).
The low is very nice, I can look into the bizness end of both with no discomfort.
Kinda cool seeing those 4 emitters in sync. Have to put it up close to see anything butt there are 7 levels.
I pre-ordered this S42 in 219C as I donāt have any light with that LED.
The Manker version is very interesting also, butt pricey.
Think Iāll wait to see how hot this gets, and accessing that switch w/o gloves.
