thumbs UP for me. I have the Rofis JR20 R5, similar but 18650 with rear, and side switch. Wanna trade?

That Ferris wheel was rockin! Fun video as usual, good job!

My wife may be getting this one. When I saw the current at the tail of the Rofis, I decide to test it on here Olight H1, but somehow it fried the driver. Not sure if I shorted it out or what. If I can get her Olight fixed I will keep you in mind. Thank you

Thanks man. I really had a good time doing that…

I’m a big fan of this type of light for the flexibility it provides. The magnetic base coupled with the swivel head means you can pretty much aim it anywhere, hands free. I have a Klarus AR10 and a few Thrunite TN20’s, all of which utilize this form factor. My only concern is the longevity/reliability of the swivel head. Don’t get me wrong, the lights are well made and show no sight of any issues, it’s just that as a general rule more moving parts means more things to fail. With that in mind, if I were in a situation where I could only have one light, I don’t think I’d choose this one. As an EDC (since I carry more than one), it’s fine.

Thanks for the review! Thumbs Up!

I would also be concerned about the swivel head’s reliability.

Are the driver wires just loose inside the head? Do they flex with every swivel? Sounds like if you swiveled it enough the wires might break.

I’ve had the older JR20 for maybe 4 years, still fine.
I never did figure out how the swivel mechanism works/ comes apart, I think it would need to be a destructive disassembly.
I believe the wires go through the centre pivot, there is minimal twisting stress.
Obviously the pivot will wear out at some point or the wires but that’s a lot of twisting…

I took this pic when modding mine to a triple, don’t know if they’re still made the same way

Great video vestureofblood! Looks like a nice flashlight and it should be very useful with the swivel head, magnetic tail, and compact size. Thumbs up from me.

Good question. I’m not sure really. I assumed the design would be based on a set of metal to metal contacts and not wires.
