I'm still waiting for my tracking number to work..

Awesome, so we should be getting feedback from some of you guys soon! We will need pictures, beamshots, measurements, readings, everything!

Same with me, which is kind of strange since I ordered on the 3rd. I guess it was just a grab bag in terms of shipment priority. I'm still curious why the tracking number wouldn't be working by now. It worries me a little since I just went through a shipping error here in the USA with an item that took 10+ days to get from California on 3-5 day shipping. It's annoying and frustrating to wait around for something that could very well be stuck somewhere. But I'll be patient for now... :)

Same here

Here is a question I didn't see asked yet (unless I missed it)...

For the version with the turbo safety mode, after it kicks down to high can it be reclicked to turbo immediately for another 20 seconds of turbo or is there a cool down timer that forces you to stay in high for an amount of time to allow the driver to cool off before turbo mode can be engaged again?

Johnny, I've been meaning to ask the same question.

Oops, I seem to have accidentally ordered one of these.. ;)

it's 99.9% likely a timer not a heat sensor..my zlt sc600 has a 5 minute step down and to reactivate that higher setting you have to turn it off and back on again..doesn't matter how hot it is it's just timed to step down at a certain time..the dry is probably the same way..have to turn it off then on again..what i'm curious is if you cycle through med and low does it go to high again and omit the turbo setting?

I'm pretty sure the DRY is timer-based. There are, however, some budget drivers starting to appear with temp regulation, as well as one triple drop-in.

Just put another one on order for my bro

You guys talking about how many days to receive it, I'm envious! Don't know if it's due to our custom or due to our postal system being so messy, but the average time to arrive here in Italy is usually 4 to 6 weeks, and sometime worse...

yeah i've seen the temp ones but that's just a shut-off not a step-down..and they don't turn off at 20 seconds every time..lol

lol!

that was one quick flight. must be a record

Happens to me all the time. There's no cure.

I've checked.

Mine is the version with turbo 20s step down to high. U can immediately switch to turbo again with a half click once it step down. No need to off and on again. Did it 3 times straight. No issue

Wonder how long you can actually keep it on turbo before it frys.

Thanks for the reply..you say half press brings you to turbo..do you not have to cycle to medium and low first??

No need, once step down, a single half click brings it back to turbo.the DRY mode arrangements of the step-down version is from low-med-high- turbo-low. from high mode, the next click will be turbo.well, this is what I experienced and with this arrangement it should be correct too.I did it with 3 step-down straight. Always need just a single click to bring it to turbo.

Ok that makes sense..I assumed it went turbo-high-med-low..it's good news to hear we can get back to turbo so easily after stepping down to high..

I thought that has been done thorughly, > 1000 posts in several threads here and CPF. The DRY is one of the most measured light around here and also the most talked about. It is not a new light. Some love it, some hate it.
