Q8, PMS SEND TO THOSE WITH ISSUES BLF soda can light

Ouch!

Personally, I’m a believer of peaceful use of light sabers!

This light is just too tempting, I need another one. Can you put me on the list for another? (3 total)

Yes will update list later

Oh terrible Dale, I missed that, I thought it was kind of a joke, sorry.
I hope all will be going great man!
Only downside if it goes great, no more grumpy posts , biw those will be missed

Beautiful photo stephenk :+1:
Do you have more like that somewhere online for me to look?

Best wishes, Dale. I hope you have a speedy recovery, and your pain gets better. We will miss you while you are AWOL.

Here ya’ go Dale. In case nobody sends you any flowers while you are in the hospital recuperating, you can print these out and stick them on the wall in your room……… :stuck_out_tongue:
I have a big yard full of them…………
.

.
Seriously…… take care & best wishes again. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers. :+1: …

You just know Dale’s gonna have his laptop, tablet and smartphone by his bed so he can check out what’s going on here. Lol

Yep, most likely. Although if he has to be in a Halo for a while that will be somewhat restrictive.

Try these with a 5V 4x18650 chinese powerpack. Keeps em warm for hours budget style. Works like a charm (tested them overnight in –10 C)

Im guessing this friend was in australia d:

Awesome!
Those bands of light, very nice
Can you start a topic how to do these things?
It is amazing how long the waving bands are, so beautiful! Wanna try this at home

Beautiful! Lots of creative ideas with great photography skills!
Some look like HDR + light painting? (how can it be though?)

Would you show us all your painting lights and gear?

Those light painting pictures make me want to finish my rainbow saber and get a camera capable of longer exposures. I wonder if I could get it working before the Q8 shows up…

Also, +1 what he said:

Nice pictures Stephenk. You have a real talent for making light art. :+1:

I am just into the dark arts, dont need no light other than what mother nature provide.

Thanks for the link stephenk, those pictutes just look amazing!
+ about 500 to the positive comments of others before me! . :+1:
.

I think you’ve wandered into the wrong forum, buddy.
Them’s fightin’ words ’round these parts.

Thanks for all the comments.

I’ll start a topic as soon as I get the chance on light painting overview and tips.
Need to start and finish my overdue Nitecore NU30 vs NU20 CRI video review first.

I post process from single RAW exposures in Lightroom. So not really true HDR, but often post processed to maximise dynamic range. I’ll talk about exposures, post processing, and gear when I get around to writing a dedicated thread on it.

Well i do need a good flashlight mother nature or not, some times i take pictures in really dark places and those i cant find without a flashlight.
Often quite hard to figure out where i left the Nikon Dslr on the tripod, long exposure times mean i myself and my mind can wander off while the camera do its thing.

No photo post processing going on here, never have never will.
