Test/review of Aspire INR18350 1300mAh (Black-yellow)

Great minds think alike!!

About 5 minutes after I posted on here I emailed Jon and told him about these batteries and said I wanted to give him One…your idea of Two maybe better! :+1:

Thanks for the review!

I ordered 4 from Aspire’s Chinese site (the shipping cost went UP if ordering 5 or more).

Aspire’s UK site is about twice as expensive for the cells and the shipping cost from the UK to Sweden is about the same as from China to Sweden (it’s a strange world…).

Purchased 5 w/ePacket option…… $20 total.
Thanks for the review and order tips!! :+1: :+1: :+1:

If anyone has an extra one or two they want to part with, send me a PM. 5 for $20 is a good deal, but I only have one 18350 light atm…

Apparently DHL (which was the only shipping agent choice for Sweden on the site) didn’t accept sending 18350:s to Sweden, so they were sent by e-EMS instead. Can’t complain since I got the shipping charge difference back. In the end the shipping of 4 18350:s to Sweden (via e-EMS) amounted to USD 4:92

Do you have a link to where you bought them from?

Varsågod:

Tack!

Jon was very impressed with the batteries performance[HKJ review]. He graciously declined my offer and told me he is going to look into getting them.

Hopefully he will and he has them in a month or Two!

I received 10 of the 25 batteries that I ordered. I will test 8 of them for capacity (=at 500mA discharge) in the Opus. Here’s the first 4, capacities are fine.

The high current capabilities of the fully charged battery prove a bit less than my black Keeppower IMR cells, on my EDC triple they deliver 5.7A, while the Keeppower does more than 7. But that is more than fine knowing that it will maintain the current longer.
Edit: correction, I did not test fully charged cells :person_facepalming:

Well that’s discouraging Jos! I built a light today just for these, two of the dark purple Efest 18350’s allow 15.87A for 10,315.5 lumens. Was really hoping that these new Aspires would do even better, not that I’m finding these numbers lacking in any way.

Wait Dale, I just checked again and found that I pulled the cells only half charged from the Opus, after the discharge capacity check the cells were still being charged apparently. Sorry to disturb you, better results later!

Sweet! Back to having high hopes I’ll see 11,000 lumens or more in this Ti X6.

Aspire 18350 in my triple EDC, in the rebound fully charged: 8.8A. :sunglasses:

They rock!

I just ordered 5 more for $20 shipped. Hard to resist a good deal on great cells...

GB is kill'n me with the VTC6 deals of 4 for $20 (deal still on), and the LK 5000 deals of 2 for $10 or 4 for $20 ( out of stock now).

8.8A up from slightly over 7A, that’s a significant increase over the Keeppower to be sure. Looking forward to em, heck if they match the output of my dark purple metallic looking Efests but with more capacity I’m still a happy camper. With the new emitters and new cells, some output’s are possible that never were before. Win win, all around, as far as I’m concerned.

Great news!
Finally a decent 18350. :+1:

Aspire (e-cig company) has a wholesale US distributor, uvaper.com, that stocks them. These cells have been around since Oct 2016 as far as I can tell from vape forum posts.

Okey but you got them anyway.
Just orded 4 today.

Thanks for the link,Jon may have them soon.

As far as Uvaper goes, never saw a website where you had to create an account to find out the prices! Ridiculous.
