Test/review of Aspire INR18350 1300mAh (Black-yellow)

Jon was very impressed with the batteries performance[HKJ review]. He graciously declined my offer and told me he is going to look into getting them.

Hopefully he will and he has them in a month or Two!

I received 10 of the 25 batteries that I ordered. I will test 8 of them for capacity (=at 500mA discharge) in the Opus. Hereā€™s the first 4, capacities are fine.

The high current capabilities of the fully charged battery prove a bit less than my black Keeppower IMR cells, on my EDC triple they deliver 5.7A, while the Keeppower does more than 7. But that is more than fine knowing that it will maintain the current longer.
Edit: correction, I did not test fully charged cells :person_facepalming:

Well thatā€™s discouraging Jos! I built a light today just for these, two of the dark purple Efest 18350ā€™s allow 15.87A for 10,315.5 lumens. Was really hoping that these new Aspires would do even better, not that Iā€™m finding these numbers lacking in any way.

Wait Dale, I just checked again and found that I pulled the cells only half charged from the Opus, after the discharge capacity check the cells were still being charged apparently. Sorry to disturb you, better results later!

Sweet! Back to having high hopes Iā€™ll see 11,000 lumens or more in this Ti X6.

Aspire 18350 in my triple EDC, in the rebound fully charged: 8.8A. :sunglasses:

They rock!

I just ordered 5 more for $20 shipped. Hard to resist a good deal on great cells...

GB is kill'n me with the VTC6 deals of 4 for $20 (deal still on), and the LK 5000 deals of 2 for $10 or 4 for $20 ( out of stock now).

8.8A up from slightly over 7A, thatā€™s a significant increase over the Keeppower to be sure. Looking forward to em, heck if they match the output of my dark purple metallic looking Efests but with more capacity Iā€™m still a happy camper. With the new emitters and new cells, some outputā€™s are possible that never were before. Win win, all around, as far as Iā€™m concerned.

Great news!
Finally a decent 18350. :+1:

Aspire (e-cig company) has a wholesale US distributor, uvaper.com, that stocks them. These cells have been around since Oct 2016 as far as I can tell from vape forum posts.

Okey but you got them anyway.
Just orded 4 today.

Thanks for the link,Jon may have them soon.

As far as Uvaper goes, never saw a website where you had to create an account to find out the prices! Ridiculous.

says wholesale

Second batch of 4 on the Opus: 1156 1143 1189 1169

I am assuming that is directed towards me.You are a man of few words which is fine. They are usually vague and irrelevant.

What does that have to do with it? Liionwholesale[my neighbor Jon] is wholesale and he lists the prices. So is the vapeshop [forget the name] in Bangor,PAā€¦.they list the prices also.

terse vs verbose :stuck_out_tongue:

their site, their loginā€¦

some others use that crap captcha with all the cars and road signs crap
I opted out of three of those due to the verbose, repetitive nature
you can never get it right on first try with most of them

anyway
their site, their loginā€¦

am I being verbose?

I see myself ordering 6 a month until Christmas.

language Lowtechā€¦

Just for the sake of it I added some from the chinese website, but it seems I am in the same ballpark as djozz is: DHL shipping ripoff until order amount reaches/surpasses 25 pieces/$100 value, at which point a free shipping option appears. I don't really know what sort of shipping service do they hire in such case, maybe djozz can answer this. Djozz?
