Thanks for the review.

It seems that this battery has less voltage sag than my Vappower starting at 15a.At 10a they are about even.

Until then my Vappower is actually better and has a bit more capacity.

The reviewer “Mooch” from the vape industry claims this is the best high drain out there. I guess for those who vape it probably is.

Yup, great cell with Plenty of head room for anything we do with flashlights. iJoy is a vape company which who these cells are targeted

Seems his review samples performed a bit better and more consistently, bearing also in mind he doesn't uses a 4 terminal battery holder/cradle.

Cheers

When Jon got these 3 months or so ago he stated that he was the only one in USA to have them at that time and they are LESS than half the price of what ijoy is selling them on their website!

Look at the Aspire 4300
It is better than Ijoy

Batteries manufacturer is YDL
The same as 18350-1300 , 18650-1800/2500

OK Thanks, has someone tested the Aspire 26650 4300mAh?

I hope HKJ does so I can use the “Comparator

I found this: http://www.aspirecig.com/products/battery-cells/2016/1102/383.html, but comparing 20A discharge curves, the Aspire is clearly worse if I'm reading this right.

What makes you say it's better?

Thanks for the link. The Aspire also looks worse to me. Especially in the beginning.

I found a battery test here and is one of the people I trust along with Henrik:

(He is in our company, too. Hello Torchy …)

Aspire looks better … I think …

Below the chart table, we see the duration of the discharges in seconds.

Not sure how to read those charts - they are pulse tests, not continuous? Length of time is not so concerning - we care more about voltage at high drain, say 5A to 20A.

Yes.
You’re right .
I mentioned only as a result of … a little superiority and more of a word that I am a vaper and more I am interested in the pulse discharge (regardless of the Amperes I use).

I should have made it clear from the beginning ….

Sorry.

Here’s Mooch’s continuous tests at 10 through 40A range. When he rates a cell, he errs on the side of safety.

Yep, we are talking about the Aspire 26650 4300 mAh cell, well, compared against the iJoy. Would be nice to see Mooch's comparison tests but from what I could find, Mooch's 26650 summary post is out dated, here: https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blog-entry/26650-safety-grades-and-pulse-performance-data.7554/

Oops, sorry, was following the OP. Why do you say his summery post is outdated?

Here’s all 31 26650’s he’s tested

It looked all dated Jan 20, 2016 if I understand it right, but the list you linked is different, not what I could find. So apparently he did a 26650 summary thing back in Jan 2016, but has tested other cells since.

Even that post you linked to I can't find a "last modified" date for. The June 22, 2015 date on the bottom can't be right.

Well, there’s not a lot new coming out, other than maybe re-wraps. The iJoy looks like it’s been out on the market for at least 9 months

Ahh, might be interesting to some. Even though those Aspire 26650 4300's looked poorer performing than the iJoy, I had already ordered 2 of them, arrived yesterday. So, charged them up and tested them against other top performing cells, including the EFEST dark purple 4200's, iJoy, LK 5000's, etc. Well, the Aspire beat them all.

However very limited test: DD FET light w/dedomed XM-L4, checked initial amps using the clamp meter. Amps on both Aspire's were higher than all others, but not by much - slightly higher. All cells were 4.19V or 4.20V pretty fresh off the charger.

2 EFEST 4200's and 3 LK's were included in the tests, just to eliminate any single cell issues. I only have one iJoy though.
