I was going to bead blast mine, but after seeing yours I decided to polish it on my buffer with polishing compound. It came out great!

Swap Thorfire’s improved C8S tail cap onto the Convoy and you’d have my ideal C8. Fantastic work as always, Tim. :+1:
One of these days I might just buy a Thorfire for the tail cap, as silly as that may be.
What type/brand of polish compound do you use?
I built a simple contraption to fit the bezel on a power-drill, but using Brasso hardly made any difference with the original.
I don’t think brasso is abrasive enough. Polishing compound on a cloth wheel using compounds like this

Thank Litefighter! But the thorfire c8s tail cap will not fit convoy c8, it will not screw all the way down. Convoy c8 tail cap fit thorfire c8s.
I use Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish from Walmart. I polish a couple times.
I got mine. Putted it on my grey C8 with TA driver, XP-L2 led and lighted tailcap. Full modded 3V emitter C8.

I love the way it looks on the grey C8. Definitely my favorite C8 color with the SS bezel. :+1:
Let me ask you all a question. Well, by “all” I mean all that have already received the new stainless bezel. Do you think the edges are too sharp? I may do a poll about this. Personally I’d like to see the sharp corners knocked off. Not enough to change the look just so that it’s not so sharp in hand or pocket. Simon asked me to get the overall BLF consensus since some people do like sharp corners. Please comment if you already have one.
I like the sharp corners . If I don’t want the sharp corners then i’ll put the old bezel on it.
I like it with sharp edges. IMO it is not so sharp that it could be a problem.
I also like the bezel just as it is now :+1:
Interesting. That’s not quite what I expected to hear. It looks like I may be in the minority here. 
I don’t like the sharp edges. Will try smooth them off with a diamond file, or just put the original one back.

Yeah, the edges are a little sharp, i would have preferred them to be rounded off a little.
I’m with you but it seems there is enough mixed feelings on this that maybe I should do a poll. I don’t dislike the new bezel by any means, I just think the sharpness detracts from the quality feel a bit. The rounding that I’m talking about would not really even be visible. It would not change the look or style at all. The only difference would be in how it feels when you run your finger over the corner. You’d still know you’re feeling a corner, it just wouldn’t catch on your skin…
