Imalent DM21T: http://www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_626560.html?lkid=10879226 On sale right now for $27.99 At the time of this post I see only 12pc left in stock.

OH.MY.GOD.

Bro i have become slightly addicted to these videos; they are fun in a quirky kind of way.

At 1:52 when you did that “clicked, double clicked, triple clicked” and then finally on the table crouched down speed clicking said “re-clicked” i lost my shit almost fell off the couch that was the funniest thing i’ve seen all day.

Dude keep them coming these videos are great

The rotary’s tres kewl (that’s French), but I still like the magnetic slider on the DV-S9. It’s CW, though, but not too objectionable.

Gotta say, the WW on the ’21 looked really nice in the video. Think I have a few 5Ds sitting around doing nothing, may just throw one into a host (or maybe a P90) just to see what it looks like.

(Ah, yes! 5Cs on 20mm, and 5Ds on 16mm.)

Question… is that a potentiometer, with stops on both ends of travel, or a free-spinning encoder? I’m wondering what’d happen after a few years, when the critter starts getting “scratchy”. Oh, and water-resistance.

Yeah, I know, I’m Mr Glass Half-Empty… :stuck_out_tongue:

Still, it’s tempting to get one just to play with.

I really appreciate you saying so wd. I was really not feeling good at all about this video because I felt like that potion there was a bit weak, and also because I had nothing entertaining to put up for the short time lapse (just a sundown). While I was out for my run I considered not even posting what I had.

I have two rotary dimmer flashlights, one of which is an Imalent. I haven’t had a rotary tail dimmer though.

The cool white version may be a little closer to their claimed 1000 lumen output, but for some strange reason it costs $52.95?

I got the warmer version which is about 4200K and seems to be CRI >80,
its on the warm side of neutral, but no real warm white

the rotary brightness adjustment is not magnetic its a tunable resistor
