Just noticed in the picture that the two flashlights have the battery tube reversed. I guess the threading on both sides of the tube is the same and this is the way to reverse the clip? (you can’t hide nothing from me )
How’s the beam profile? Square or round?
Now that the quad boards are in , time for Meteor V2 with 4x Quads :student:
I need a green one, of course.
Looks like I’m spending some money soon
Sharp djozz and some nice out of the box thinking :+1:
If the price is still 30. I’ll get 3. One of each emitter type
Me like!!
Nicely done, Hank! The D4 is beautiful!
I can’t wait to order one with Nichias! :+1:
Green nichia for me now!!!, and perhaps black XP-L Hi, Nice lights!!
Please Hank no more pics…… I need a link
There will be no knurling on the tube?
What about tailcap magnet?
That would have been nice, but a magnet that can hold a 18650 light horizontally is at least 5mm thick, I can understand a decision to go for minimal size in a light like this.
More like 3mm, but yeah it adds to the length for sure… but it’s quite useful
EDIT : you can always glue a magnet to the tailcap
This looks great, Is there a tail spring, I usually swap that out for a magnet. Could do with knurling on the tube though.
I like the tube without knurling. Everyone has their preferences
True, not everyone can be right

There is a spring:
It does use our BeCu spring both in the tailcap and driver pcb to minimize
the resistance as small as possible.
