That would have been nice, but a magnet that can hold a 18650 light horizontally is at least 5mm thick, I can understand a decision to go for minimal size in a light like this.
I guess they take batteries from ~65 to ~70 mm and the springs are solely responsible for that. So while the springs may compress completely with a 70 mm battery, there will probably be free space if you use a shorter one.
BTW, I wonder why do they use springs at all and not DQG style solid contactsā¦.Iāve read some people being worried of dropping DQGs, but not about someone having problems because of that.
Iām checking out Intl-outdoor.com many times a day to see if theyāre for saleā¦ Canāt wait to see more pictures and all the available optionsā¦ Letās see how many Nichia variants there will beā¦ :smiling_imp:
Thanks, although some samples have been tested for a few days, we would still rather to assemble the lights and test them fully before putting them for sale, instead of taking the customersā money first.
Yes, thatās why I have confidence in buying them whenever they are for sale without reading some reviews first. Many people are waiting for the 17000 lumen monster. A while ago (about a year perhaps) you said that hopefully it will be ready before Christmas 2016. And itās still not available yet. And this I consider a really good thing. This means you donāt rush products into production, only to find out via upset customers that certain improvements need to be made. A perfect product from day one is also one of the key features of the M43, which is my all time favourite light. So Iām anxious to see the Emisar lights on your site, but I donāt mind waiting for many weeks or months if necessary, because I know it will be worth it.
There is no related thread, so I will ask here.
New 4XP boards.
DTP, good quality, wide traces, parallel connected, for Carclo quad optics, same price to 3XP.
All is good. By why they are 21mm OD? All previous quad boards were 20.00.
