PayPal claim…also contact them through the forum and make it public and that’ll usually solve the issue. I don’t think a ban from the forum will fix anything or will happen either.
I do frequently order from them and do not see any problems. Some of their products are crap, but most are fine (I do not see a crap product as a issue with Banggood.
I do seldom have issues (I.e. product not received), that means I cannot remember any problems (If I had they would probably be resolved easily, due to my reviews for them).
Generally I do not expect top notch service from cheap Chinese shops, but the only one where I really got pissed was DX, the amount of money involved was negligible (for me), but it did show how some shops tries to maximize profit, without worrying about the customers.
Banggood is a big one, they will not fail in a manner you describe. Also, they don’t actually keep (and pay) for their stock. Their business model is the percentage of the goods they sell as an intermediary. Your story goes for the smaller sellers.
It’s your fault if you waited 6 months before saying anything…
Nearly every online or physical retailer has a time limit before you can dispute an order, usually 30 days since the expected arrival date.
I think if you’re having issues with them but almost everyone else is not then it’s a fairly isolated case and doesn’t require banning an entire company from a forum.
You can simply stop buying from them.
To suggest that BG deliberately ignores paid orders to satisfy vendor debt is rather dubious.
“They can’t raise prices to generate more cash; we would just do our shopping somewhere else.”
What do you think the result of practicing what you are suggesting would be?
You are positing that BG chooses to disappear orders in lieu of raising prices because this is better for customer retention. That’s a pretty bold claim.
If it were as slippery of a slope as you claim, such practice would obviously be unsustainable, and they would go out of business. I don’t see any of this happening, or any reason they should be banned from the forum.
I agree that it’s a matter of being in time and dropping the PayPal bomb if needed. When I have an issue, I try to sort it out with their CS. If they start to become tedious (e.g. asking for video’s of a non-received item), I start a PayPal dispute and everything gets settled more or less satisfyingly in a matter of days. So I see no need for a ban. Overall I’m happy with their low prices and accept some hassle occasionally.
Oh come on, you should make a video filming every corner of your house including the content of your fridge, and end the video with “See I don’t have the light.” Curious how they will respond, hehe.
I’ve had no issues with Banggood and have been with them for a few years. You can always contact customer service to check on the status of your order; they have been quick to respond and are helpful with any disputes you may have. There was a time when my order was missing; I immediately contacted their customer service and they refunded the amount to my Paypal.
