I am a big fan of ramping , so i was excited since the announcement of this light .
What i really like and i think it will be useful for the average user is they big variety of batteries that it accepts , from 1*18650 / 1*18350 to 2*16340 / 2*18350 etc .
Thanks ! Haha i can’t really remember it’s name , but i will reply here when i do
.
Also , updated in the first post the output/time diagram , on the highest brightness of the ramping mode . Over 90% of the total output (about 580 otf lumens) for about 110 minutes …
.
With the provided 3400mAh battery , it rattles but only a little . Maybe with unprotected and/or slimmer batteries there is a biggest issue .
Does the switch stay lit in all cases?
I prefer the battery indication to signal on activation then turn off, for all battery states; signal intermittently (say every 10 seconds) during use only when the battery is below 25; every 5 seconds when the battery is below 20; then not signal during use but step down the output when the battery is below 15% to prolong remaining runtime.
Great price but I still don’t want to risk getting a green NW.
Mine arrived today. So far I’m really liking it. It runs fairly hot in the turbo mode, but not hot enough to be of any concern. I haven’t measured battery life yet on the Efest 900mAh 18350 I’m using, but it does seem to do pretty good. The tint is supposed to be cool white, to my eyes it’s closer to a neutral white
