The dimensions are very respectable, is very small compared to its potential!

The magnet is very comfortable, returns useful in many situations, it is powerful enough to keep it
fixed in place.

The power button is designed well, hard enough, you do not activate inadvertently,
Press 1 again to turn
Press 1 again to switch modes in a cyclic manner, from off
Press and hold 3 seconds to turn it off in memory mode, the subsequent pressure we find the program you previously saved.

Here we begin to see it removed, the screws that hold the two parts of the PF:

Detail of the screws, they are well made and sturdy enough, note the o-rings on both sides

Lifting the lid that covers the internal circuit, there is the seal around the diameter of the PF, I think it is sized
well, in my specimen does not enter the water!

Here’s what it looks like disassembled version with a lithium primary battery CR123 format:

I have tried if it works the RCR123/16340, it works perfectly, in fact looking at the circuit of the rechargeable version
is equal. CR123:

Here we have removed the rechargeable version (missing the protective film that I took myself):

n this photo you can see a detail of the model Rechargeable, those springs essentially serve to activate the external charging through the pins
and the dedicated device, absent on the model with primary battery, the other one more thing on the circuit pack is the presence
the protection diode: DS2 propio next to the screw.

This accessory is supplied in the version given Rechargeable, the two pins making contact with the screws from holding
recharge the internal battery, it has a magnet inside that clings against the magnet of the PF.
On the PF shows on the polarity and also charging accessory … is protected against reverse polarity

The charging accessory is equipped with a status LED, red charging,
green at the end of charge or polarity reversal.
you can charge via USB.

If you do not add weight to the PF, floats safely!

considerations:

It ’ a really well made product ! considering the cost to have it,
their relatively small size , and the usefulness it has, really recommend it !

Find application / use on a number of occasions , visibility at night is really high …
In my work , sometimes I stand around a bend , I put a couple of meters before, so that the bogies
from the presence of people can understand immediately after …

I see a great replacement / addition to warning triangle for car, in case of nebia , stop in for emergency
and anything can happen …

I ’m getting comfortable with the Rechargeable version , very handy for charging ,
the package is sold with home and car charger with USB port , rechargeable via PC too.

The version with the primary battery , can also be used with battery RCR123/16340
the advantage of using the primary lies in the fact that the runtime increases almost three times .

in rechargeable version , you could change battery to insert larger capacity

If you want you can easily modding to make it the primary battery from the outside …
just add the springs as you can see in the photo on to connect the PCB to the outer screws ,
and add the diode DS2 on the circuit !

I have no known negative report !

Overall rating : 4.5 / 5 !

Price : 5/5
Product Quality : 5/5
Runtime Version primary : 5/5
Runtime version Rechargeable: 4/5
Recharge Time rechargeable version : 3/5

Thank you!

Somehow I don’t get what it is good for, except looking odd and presumably emitting some sort of light in some direction.

I like it! Where do I get one?

Deutcheland! ;)

Does it turn on ALL the leds at ONCE or does it rotate, so it looks like a UFO?

edit: Found the answer... quite interesting stuff

It ’also intrinsically a safe!

There is an American version, called PF-200

It is used to alert emergency, remote you notice a glow
strong enough!

I tried to get on with the car, quietly resist!
I recommend the purchase, the cost is well worth the effort!

I use it in the balcony, when it is born, hahha

Americans can get it here.

I like their Firehose Logger pants.

Thank you photobucket for screwing an interesting review…
Ok, I want to buy one but would have been interested to see the internals before.
Anyone got one ? What do people think of it ?

I have one, like it a lot. WhenI saw it I had to have it. Searched around. I did not want to pay $50 for one. I paid $20 for mine. 9 modes. Rechargeable. Very nice.

I have three of them, bought two at “Action”. They are nice, better than a safety triangle. I paid less than €10 a piece, non rechargeable (AA’s If I recall correct). Not the same brand I think as the OP.
They have a magnet to stick them to the car without damaging the paint of the car.

I keep them in the car for about two years. I just wonder about their parasitic drain. I will test them one of these days.

I think I’ll buy the original one, I like that it works on lithium to be stored in the glovebox without risking leaks…
