Review request for HKJ [Chargers]

Probably only when they change an installation or make a new installation.

have you test this charger seems like an okay price for a 2A charging. Really lacking information, if its charging 2A at all slots that would be good.
AWT C4 charger

No, but it looks interesting. With the amount of chargers I have in queue just now, I will not order new chargers for test.
At a later day I expect to check this thread for interesting chargers.

I remember for that later day also a Nitecore SC4 .

I have made a memo in the second post of the thread.

Charger review request: Folomov A4:
http://www.folomov.com/en/content/?125.html

10 amps....... O_O

It’s 8 Amps max (4x2A), if I’m reading it correctly.

The outer bays can push 3 Amps only when the two inner bays aren’t being used.

The main negative I see is that there is no discharge function and no ability to measure actual battery capacity in mAh.

Oh yes... I read it again... In my mind I have read ch2 and ch3 can only deliver 2A when 4 slot are used. My bad, seems time to sleep has arrived. Thank you for the clarification.

This looks like the most powerful charger on the market, 10 amps!!!

Or is there any more powerful, other than MC3000 ?

8 AA slots, looks like this:

This Folomov one can do 8A max, same as MC3000.

I'm not an owner of the MC3000, but by looking at the official spec (they could be wrong tho) they state 50W max charging power, should be able to handle 12A when in bulk charge then when you reach the ending voltage the termination current should be much less and compensate for that so, should be legit. I repeat, mereley looking at the spec...i could be worng, since i read the review long time ago

Yes, I’ve seen mfg specs that state it can do 3A per slot, but HKJ review only indicates 2A per slot. Not sure why the discrepancy.

I do have a 3A discharge curve:

There was a bug in my table with all chargers, it is fixed (There is probably more bugs in the table and I will fix them as fast as I know about them).

I am not going to fix the broken link.

Thanks, HKJ. There is this table in your review that only shows current values up to 2A, and not even for 18650 batteries, so I wasn’t sure…

That is the recommended charger current for different cell sizes.

Got it. Thanks for clarification. Looks like MC3000 is still the king.

It really is, the more time I spend with it the more I like it. The UI feels so easy to use now… (after a year)

to go beyond 3A i think you’ll need hobby charger + 18650 holder and MC3000 is already expensive, but i dont charge my 18650s beyond 3A anyway, tried on 4A but got rather hot (samsung 30Q got 41C)
