Sorry Alex, l dont have either mentioned lights. The biggest light I have that has been purchased would be the original Defiant Super Thrower which is not in this league.
On a personal note Iād prefer the longer tube not that I have seen the light with it. It should balance the weight out a little better.
As far as adding weight I dont think it would add a great deal to it.

Hey Steve, can you measure the diameter of the battery tube at the threads? Wondering if the SD75 tube might fit??

Edit. It would also be nice if anyone had suggestions on a carry bag for this light. Even for transport purposes to stop it getting damaged.

Theres some nice ideas. The pipe cap looks good and ccc bag if it had a shoulder strap looks like a possibility.
at least the head is not as big as āmillions candelasā lamps that runs H3 12v 50w bulb we used to āloveā, i still have those.
There was once a āBLF lanyardā by Manafont, perhaps now there should be a āBLF shoulder strapā.
or custom paracord strapā¦
Yes, this light is perfect for a shoulder strap. I put my S70 strap on it and it works fantastic! Review coming tomorrow. Leaving to take some beamshots in a little bit hopefullyā¦ā¦if I can put off the important work I should be doing right nowā¦ā¦
I reckon the leather lanyard your talking about would be able to handle this torch.
Adsum, that bag does look great for the light if it fits. Maybe someone in China can test fit the light for us.
