Iām in for one.
The only thing left is for Fritz to send that working sample over here and let me get readings and picturesā¦

will update list later (ha did I got you Dale )
It is pretty awesome that this light is based on an actual lathe build beauty!
First prototype not from China but designed and build in Germany!
If I wasnāt involved this mere fact would be something to spark my interest for sure
Sorry US people but āmade in the USAā does not ring high quality here in Europe. Made in France/Italy neither. But designed and made in Germany is considered a sign of real quality.
Japan and Germany , both say quality nowadays but German means expensive. So cool the FW3A is designed in Germany!
Iām interested!
If not to late, Iād like to sign up for one FW3A please :+1:
After a loooong reading and a loooong thought about this, I guess I cannot miss this opportunity! 2017 is the flashlight year for me
The price is the one mentioned in the OP, right?
The Miller, please put my name for 1 flashlight.
Thanks andā¦really nice work! Thanks to all involved
Nice you made a thorough decision
Will update the list later
Something came up, please withdraw my request. Thanks.
My suggestion is to just wait until itās ready for you to buy then decide if you have the funds. No need to take your name off the list. Your not committing to buy anything. Who knows, maybe youāll have the money when its ready. :+1:
Unless of course the thing that came up is a big deal, like your going to prison for a few years. Then yeah, you might not want to buy it then. Lol
Hey, put me down for a second one. This is a no-mod, well maybe emitters, great light and is a good size and has good firmware.
Yeah Jason, this is kind of what I would write too
Sure Matt
Please add me to the list for one as well.
Please add me to the list for a second one.
Put me down for one
the Miller, I used to believe in the quality of German engineering as well, and then I bought a Volkswagen Turbo Diesel. :confounded:
Hey at least they are super clean to the environment. All of the emissions tests say they are anywayā¦ā¦ā¦
Please add me to the list for a second one.
Thanks
Yeah, loved the car but hated the scandalā¦ had to sell of some 40 lights to make 2 car payments while it all sorted itself out. Gave up some awesome builds in that little adventureā¦
So in that last statement is an indicator of a flashaholic. Not only having 170 flashlights but when forced to sell off some having it impact ya like deciding which child is the favorite, then missing them when they are gone. The SP03 I planned for a long time, it had a massive copper pill I built for it and Richards driver, bumped. Miss that one a lot especially.
So, for all you noobs out there, the day will come when you look at the Q8 or this special edition build and list to yourself all the reasons itās a keeper, like an alcoholic reasoning why itās ok to fall into a bottle. Youāve been ForeWarned! :smiling_imp:
lol I can unfortunately see that happening to me in the future. But I am just a flashlight enthusiast and not a flashaholic. Flashaholicās go to meetings.
MADE IN GERMANY on the flashlight ?
@ DB Custom
Iām sorry for your ālossā man! It seems that even owning lots of flashlights does not withdraw their singular intrinsic value! Hope you can retrieve them someday
@ The Miller or someone who can answer my questions
I might have got lost in the almost 1000 posts, but I need help to clarify these:
a) does this light takes protected and unprotected 18650 batteries?
b) which would be āthe bestā battery to use with it?
c) also, is there a foreseen delivery date for this?
I have Samsung INR18650-30Q and Panasonic NCR18650B, but if none of these are āthe bestā to use with the flashlight, please let me know which would be!
Iām just thinking pro-actively, as I need to buy some batteries and that way Iād buy the ones that are more indicated for the F3WA!
Thanks in advance! :+1:
