Iām expecting the exact same one from intl-outdoor (ordered jul 27) and a black xpl (ordered aug 1) and the wait for this light is killing me.
I usually avoid looking at the tracking but canāt help it. The nichia is apparently in the customās Roissy hub since the 9thā¦ i hope it wont get stuck there for a week or more as it happened before. Itās only been two weeks since order so thereās nothing unusual so far. Maybe today or saturdayā¦ :weary:
A weird thing happened to me when ordering from intl-outdoor. I got the light with a week of ordering it and it came from England. Anyone know what thatās about? Does Hank have a warehouse there?
I have noticed that he often uses Royal Mail as his shipping agent and that means that the goods normally is shipped via the UK (not that he has any office there).
I just received my first (18350/219C) and it is insanely bright for itās size.
Quality is superb and UI is a new masterpiece from ToyKeeper.
Now I just have to figure out a way to attach it to my keyringā¦
The lumens for the blink are one of the only things that bother me on this awesome light. I keep it manually locked out often and then in the middle of the night twist the bottom to have a pretty bright double flash in a dark room with eyes adjusted to the dark.
For the blink-on, You can always cover the head while screwing the tail cap on. Or close your eyes for that brief instant.
Edit: If youāre powering it up, your dark adjusted eyes are fixing to require to some adjustment anyway, right? lol Master the click and hold so it starts in moonā¦ been doing this for a few years now with TKās own ramping firmware. Wink
Has anyone tried the Nichia 319 in this D4? Wondering too how 4 XP-E2 in green would work out? Too much power? Maybe if using the 18350 and avoiding turbo when a fresh cell is installed?
Hereās just to verify what is obvious. Efficacy stays exactly the same on lower output within the 7135 range. Little nicks on the orange graph is me bumping into the setup while cleaningā¦
i read you earlier comment, raccoon city made the 1000th post so nothing wrong with you
lol someone probably deleted their comment and made you the 1000th post
Even with a Panasonic NCR18650B cell it still getās hot on Turbo and starts stepping down fairly quickly. Seems to me the tube is robust enough to bore it for a 20700ā¦. will see about that. If I kill the long tube itās not a big deal as I like the short configuration anyway.
