Nice, I have stainless and a crap load of wire. Shattered C1 back in 94’. 6 months in a halo. You’ll probably have a year to get back to normal. Good luck…
HKJ, I was wondering if you could help me to - theoretically - solve this doubt (originally placed here )
The new Vapcell 18500 M12 1200mah 10A Li Ion, wasn’t tested yet, but I would like to know, theoretically:
having the same capacity as an Aspire 18350 (between 1100-1200mAh), both cells being rated to +10A, the Vapcell to 4.44Wh and the Aspire to 4.07Wh, will there be any substantial difference when pushing these cells to their max?
Using a flashlight with FET driver, triple emitters, and so on…a pocket rocket! Will there be substantial differences?
I know it maybe tricky to answer without a test but any help is appreciated.
It is impossible to answer without tests. The higher energy rating on the Vapcell may mean it maintains a higher voltage, but that may only be valid at lower loads.
Thanks for your input HKJ.
My question is mostly to be sure if those cells would be worthy instead of the Panasonic or the Vapcell “gold” you reviewed, or even if it would be much better than 18350s with the same capacity.
