Your right. Unfortunately times short. Iām not sure whether to build a light I may finish or one I wont finish when l get a start. :person_facepalming:
Iām going to try and get one entered this year. Even though Iām not planning on using a mill or lathe, or any precision cutting machines, I think Iām going to end up in the machine made category.
Thanks for joining in the fun. It matters little what you use to build your light. Its just good to challenge yourself with whatever you have and we all enjoy watching the processes we go through.
Iām seriously winging it this time - Iāve spent more time failing on a particular part, itās not funnyā¦& I have to spend more time posting up the string of failureā¦ :person_facepalming:
Donāt give up so easily. You can still enter and build something new. We have excellent sportsmanship in this ācontestā. We help each other if needed. Donāt be afraid to ask for help, or even for spare parts. Several of us have plenty of those too. :person_facepalming:
Not in two months time I still need to finalize my 3d design and budget.
Also I need to check if my design is patent-able and possibly hire a patent attorney to check that it hasnāt been created already.
Once it is patent pending (or I find out it canāt be patented) then I will be able to make forum posts about it
So maybe for next yearās competition it will be readyā¦
