Just a heads up - use the code “PLENTY” at checkout for an additional 10% off

Sorry about the possible bum steer:
The ebay vendor selling those “Bosch Li-Ion cordless drill and impact driver combos”
is “no longer registered on ebay”.
I wonder if he’s done a runner.

It’s tempting to buy the Aldi version on sale 26 August:

At least I’ll actually get something for my trouble.

The Aldi one is fairly low power as in torque. How much can you spend? You cant really beat the price and warranty.

They had the soldering iron on special the week my store heaps left so i am waiting for them to drop the prices hopefully soon.

A couple of my friends really like the above branded Aldi power tools, but not so much the blue ones. With the easy return policy it’s probably worth buying them to test and then return if they’re not torquey enough.

Yea you can not beat the price. You cant even buy an Ozito kit for this price. Plus Aldi have the 60 day return policy. I think you can buy cheap drills from Ikea no idea on the quality.

Haha, I post about Aldi and now the ads at the bottom of the page are telling me that I can be a mystery shopper for Aldi, and they’ll pay me $200.

For $200 bucks ill do it lol. That money will go straight back into there hands :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha if you go to the right store where they have heaps of the reduced by 50% items you’ll be getting $400 worth of products for free! Shame it’s a scam.

Re The Aldi drill kit.
The thing I don’t like is that it comes with only one battery & its a low 1500mAh capacity.
You would need to buy a second battery to give you continuous use. No idea what they would cost or if Aldi actually have them in stock.

How about this deal from Bunnings cheap drill and impact driver? I am not 100% sure on warranty but i think its 1 year? The impact has less torque then the Aldi impact driver but the drill has okay specs but no torque numbers.

Re the “Bosch Li-Ion cordless drill and impact driver combos”,
Ebay has issued a full refund for my purchase.

After initiating an “I didn’t receive it” request, ebay gave 3 days for the seller to respond.
Then I contacted ebay (responding to their query), saying the seller was no longer registered.
Hours later an email saying they’ve issued a full refund.

Warm white 300 lumen 4AA $4.95 @ Jay car

I can’t vouch for this light but I’ve had other Dorcy lights and the lumen ratings on them are not Chinese lumens.

I just bought 2 and it was $7 for shipping, it would have cost me $20+ to drive to my closest Jay car.

Hey lads i am cruising international Ebay looking at deals and came across the UNI-T UT210E for 17.27 USD seems heaps cheap if you are after one.

Sellers feedback seem okay i guess but they appear to be a new seller so it could be fake. I really cant tell because they do have a bit of positive feedback. (feedback score is 253 with 98.1% positive).

I have no idea whether its a scam or not.
These from the same seller are either a scam or cheap imitations of the 6’’ Mitutoyo digtal calipers.

Hey lads i have not been on here for a week or so been to busy and i got sick either my girlfriend or nephew made me sick. I did get some fishing done the other day! Which leads me to this deal.

Any one in NSW its gone fishing day this Sunday the 15/10/2017. Seeing as we pay to fish might as well make the most of the day if you can. Pick up some free lures and soft bates they should be handing out.
Plus you can fish without a license for this day so good day to introduce some one new to fishing.

Paying for the right to go fishing…is the rest of the forum laughing at us yet?
Can’t go for a walk down the street in Australia without being taxed for it

Did you move or am i tripping?

I 100% we should not have to pay to fish or if we do they should at least put 100% of the money into marine conservation and water ways funded programs. Not splurge the cash on equipment so they can get around to fine us! From what i know not all states require a fishing license.
Plus now they are making it compulsory to wear life jackets when rock fishing which just makes fishing harder for every one. How about take some of the money we pay and put swimming programs in schools. I am all for safety but more water awareness programs could be utilized instead of making us wear life jackets.

Its common in America also i watch a few fishing channels they get pulled up a bit and checked for licenses over there the rangers carry guns and all lol.
