The Miller I wouldn’t presume to tell you guys how to run this whole thing but the sheer number of people confused by the number differences between the interest list and the pm is baffling to me, and has to be adding tremendously to the work you guys have to do to double-check everything on the back end. I think I’d take that interest list down for now, or redact out the numbers or something, to avoid even more people sending you the wrong number in their payment. Or at least put a note above the list in the first post begging people not to change their reference number in the PM, no matter what this list may say.

And for all those coming along who are confused, stop over-thinking it. You got a PM with a number in it. That number came straight from whatever list the organizers are working with on the back-end. That’s your reference number for Neal to know you by. Nothing else matters, cause its not like the number is going to be lasered onto your light or anything.

I’ve been reading and following all this mess from the beginning, amazing it actually gets done amongst all the confusion!

I’m also finding, to my surprise! , that my wife has a lot of family here! (I can give my wife a few very basic instructions to do something, and she will invariably do it differently than requested. IE: Will you please put this candle on the left hand corner of the coffee table, on a leather coaster? Sure. Says she. Then I go find the candle in the middle of the table, on top of a stack of magazines. She likes to edit things, do it her way, or simply zoom-zooms and doesn’t pay close attention.) LOL

Any International shipment requires a phone number on the address label. This is a big thing to them, all started with all the terrorist stuff. But in the end, if the carrier can’t find your address or if something happened to the label, they can call and confirm where to send the item.

As usual, when you want something sent to you it’s normal to list your name and address so it’s sure to arrive where you want it. Simple everyday mail order.

Like several have said, calm down, make sure to read the instructions on the PM that was sent, and follow the instructions. If they sent an PM to Santa Claus with number 123 on the list, then Santa Claus should order number 123 on the list, that’s what they’ll be expecting and their list is the one that matters. The name and number will match, as they sent that instruction. Please avoid confusion by taking the time to clearly read the instruction and follow it through.

Remember, Almost all of us here at BLF that would order on this group buy are NOT CHINESE! We all speak different languages and Neal speaks Chinese, he has to sort it all out through translation so it’s far easier if the basic standards are followed, as requested.

No hurry, you’ve got 5 days to respond…. if you don’t want the light then after 5 days your number will be reassigned, then they’ll have 5 days to respond… see how that quickly turns into a couple of weeks on the pre-order status? No hurry. No worry.

If someone knows they will be out of town during this time frame, perhaps they could ask a friend to monitor this PM system for them and make that initial payment so they don’t lose the 5 day slot…

Not much to add to what the two gentlemen above said… except.
This is not a race guys. You had/have 5 days to answer questions number 2 & 3 in the PM you received.

Questions 1 & 4 came to you already filled in with your user name & the correct number.

Going forward let us all just try to get it right from here on out and especially when the main buy comes around in a few weeks.

Read the PM, answer what is asked, do not speculated……
Remember…. this is not a race. There is no first place. Take time to read and do it right.

IF you are unsure about something……. ask before you do anything.

Yes, deleting people at this point will mess up the program generating the PMs. If you no longer want or no longer have the funds, then just don’t pay.
