Imalent DX80 32000 lumen monster

Thanks! I'm pretty much settled on all my light needs at the moment but just got an Acebeam K70, so I'm intrigued by these monster thrower lights.

I'm not sure if their 9 year anniversary s*le will apply to this light, though. They basically said to try the code (from their email) and if it doesn't apply a discount, then that item isn't included.

I just got off the phone with Going Gear, and they informed me that this item is in stock, but they are holding off on shipping this item, pending reply from Imalent per their query to Imalent about which batch they have, and if it is ok to ship them.

I don’t see how they could have anything other than the 1st batch, since the next batch (to fix problems) isn’t going to be ready for a few weeks.

Well from the video I do must conclude that the light is a very handsome format… The light is flirting with me alright…

Me too.
I think that it is the correct companion to the GT…

Another delay. It is coming soon by the BG

At GearBest they changed it until 29. September, also their representative told me that even second batch will have to pass their QC control before shipping. So I wouldn’t risk buying it anywhere before official Imalent approval.

I ordered 1 thru BangGood on Aug 6.
I haven’t heard anything yet, which is good.

Imalent answer that my Dx80 its ok, so, i continued making test to the FL.

:+1:

Finally we will have true output measurement then…. My guess is 28-29000 lumens at start and drop to 25000 in first minute….

Thats the performance I would expect from 4x high drain 18650 cells. Voltage drop Should be much less with 8x cells.

With 4 XH70.2 yes, but with 8 of them it’s more less the same….

Finally the head of my DX80 will be shiped to china. The DX80 works very well, but modes aré no correct.

Couldn’t have said it better myself!

Wait…what? can you give some idea of run times and such before sending it off?
Argh! you got one but have to send it back :frowning:
tough luck, it read like yours was OK before.

Imalent says to me that i can test the flashlight, i supose the DX80 are OK, but not.

Really The light worked very well. But all modes, from the low to the mid-high, were much more powerful than specified. The consequence were runtime ridiculous, especially in the medium-high mode, which only differed from the high and turbo in the first few minutes. Moreover really have not low mode (more 700 lumen in my medition).

I have to send only the head, so i think that they are working in another Driver. Everything else works very well (charge and discharge, temperature control system, pushbutton, oled screen). The quality is very good, and the projection is impressive.

In the next days i will publish all (whitouth rumtime and modes because my meditions are the meditions of a dammage model)

What’s the highest output you managed to get? And is there a fan under heatsink or not?

My highest output its 25401 lumens and 22320 in 30sec. Cool off. But its very probably that my IS its not correct calibrate to this lumens. I explain this here Imalent DX80 32000 lumen monster - #264 by Maiden666

My result are very very similar in hight mode. The rest of modes have a real problem. When i send my data to Imalent, they say me that are working in this. They resend to me a document whit a HPLED Fast Spectrophotometer Test Report. The Flux are 32160 lumen.

So,X80,or DX80?
Or rather,X9?
