Jack, I’m a simple, no-nonsense kind of guy. Saving money anyway I can is in my blood ever since I retired. BTW, so far I love it too. Time will tell if it lasts.
I received a Tritium watch I will be reviewing soon…a Carnival with day/date functions. Took it to Canada for a nice visit to the Rocky Mountains. Very impressed with it so far…kind of a new favorite…
I just received this $199 Tisell 40mm Pilot Type A watch from S. Korea. This is a very nice watch for the price. Miyota 9015, slighty domed sapphire with AR coating, heat threated blue hands and nice brushed SS 316L case. If you guys looking for a budget pilot type watch, this is the one to have. The accuracy is amazing on mine = +0.5s after a day.
I ordered this inexpensive 20mm stainless steel watch band for my Timex Expedition Chronograph. Cost only $16.90 with free shipping. It looks great for the price. Hopefully, it’s not a POS.
pretty sure that is the same thing i got, from ebay, it’s pretty good.
after 3-4 months, the pin holding the ‘2nd clasp’ fell out, i managed to fix it myself, but i also emailed the ebay seller and he sent me a whole new clasp mechanism.
Got my new watch band. I had to remove 5 out of the 6 removable links to fit my 7.25” wrist. The pins that hold the links together are push pins, not screw types as shown in the listing. Other than that, it’s a solid band. Looks and feels much more expensive than the $17 I paid for it.
Looks better in person than it does in the pictures.
