groupbuy (ALIVE) NEW Lumintop Tool AA

Interested in 5-8 depending on price and specs

I’d be interested in a high CRI version, subject to specs and price.

I need a 10 to 20 lumen mode in there somewhere, and 5000K 90+ CRI Nichia 219B is my emitter sweet spot.

Unfortunately the form factor tells me this will be a bulky flashlight.
I love AA lights when they are slim like Acebeam M10 or Thrunite T10 or even Amutorch S3.
This one will still be a must have, given the popularity of the AAA Tool ! (I have 2 myself)

I don’t mind a bit more heft, it makes me feel like I’m holding a proper light and not a plastic toy.

And yes, I have 2 Tools as well - one XP-G2 that I used for a while then gave to my mother who loves cool white, and one CRI that I carry every single day no matter where I am (home, work, school, travel, you name it). Awesome little thing, punches way above the 1xAAA weight.

Just when I thought I was done buying flashlights! I’m interested in one.

I’m kinda interested. Gift giving for the holidays and all…

Love my 219B AAA.

In for 2, clicky + Nichia.

Thanks M4DM4X!

Interested!

If it runs a Nichia, I’ll buy a few.

possibly interested

I hope it will work with 14500 Li-Ion.

Thanks

I am interested in more specs for this when they are released. The original Tool AAA reviews said it had 2 brightness modes and used current regulation for the low mode, but my last Tool AAA had 3 modes and noticable PWM strobing on the medium and low modes, making them less useful (and really annoying). I wonder what driver they are going to use for the AA?

specs

… nope, not a fan. I was hoping for a moonlight-ish mode like the AAA Tool (both regular and CRI) has; that low mode is so bright it practically overlaps with mid in any battery that isn’t 14500.

Not in for the GB, Martin. Sorry.

What emitter was used for run times and output measurement?
