Interested in two, especially if itās fairly lightweight. Anker has a version thatās reasonable weight wise. I backpack quite a bit so weight is a huge consideration. That said, durability is also key which is usually on the other side of the spectrum from weight.
Spec looks good, although this FAQ question gave me pause:
Most solar cell manufacturers warrant a 25 year service life for things like rooftop modules. The 4 to 5 years specified by Blitzwolf seems very short in that context. Is there a reason why the service life for this portable panel is so much shorter?
I believe itās because these portable panels are subject to more use and abuse being stuffed in a backpack, folded and unfolded numerous times and are generally put in harmās way much more often than a rooftop panel. True, rooftop panels must contend with weather, but they arenāt being physically manipulated over and over. My thoughts anyway.
