Interested

Also interested in a cheap budget version. Something thatā€™s not crap, no need for bells and whistles, and cheap. Like convoy lights.

Anyone have recommendations? I suppose you should pm me though so Iā€™m not cluttering up freemeā€™s thread.

Interested in two, especially if itā€™s fairly lightweight. Anker has a version thatā€™s reasonable weight wise. I backpack quite a bit so weight is a huge consideration. That said, durability is also key which is usually on the other side of the spectrum from weight.

Iā€™m interested depending on price as well!

Spec looks good, although this FAQ question gave me pause:

Most solar cell manufacturers warrant a 25 year service life for things like rooftop modules. The 4 to 5 years specified by Blitzwolf seems very short in that context. Is there a reason why the service life for this portable panel is so much shorter?

I believe itā€™s because these portable panels are subject to more use and abuse being stuffed in a backpack, folded and unfolded numerous times and are generally put in harmā€™s way much more often than a rooftop panel. True, rooftop panels must contend with weather, but they arenā€™t being physically manipulated over and over. My thoughts anyway.

Interested if the price is right.

PET, polyethylene, is going to get damaged by the sun. Youā€™re not going to see much of that on roofs.
