But I’m not sure I like this statement: “Fade-in and Fade-out function when the turbo mode is the initial mode for on and off to promote eye safety and improve user experience.” I don’t like lights that have 100% as the first level - it makes sense for police/fire departments (actual tactical use), but not for me where I don’t want to blind myself each time I turn on the light. I would need to know more about how the UI works before considering ordering.
I explain, for the sake of the forum, sometimes it is not convenient to put links of products that are asked about interest.
And if the one who opens the thread does not put them, it is the right thing not to do. I thought it was not necessary to indicate it here, because we all know how it works.
(specs are on manufacturer web, you can copy here if you want , is not neccesary link to store)
If I were to guess, I would think the Jetbeam E20R could also accept an 18350. This is based on the similarities to the EC-R16. Oddly enough, I don't know why Jetbeam/Niteye did not advertise that the EC-R16 could run off of an 18350 (unless I am mistaken about this).
18350 is not much bigger than 16340(imo)
A light using 18350 can also support 16340
18350 has longer runtime and max current
So, i would like a light that not much bigger but brighter, run longer and support more types of battery
The klarus has a nice size factor but its pocket clip is ugly and personnaly I don’t like much big pattern knurling.
I really would like JetBeam to revive the RRT01 but this time with a low voltage protection (CUT OFF !). For this E20R, it is nowhere said that it has a low voltage cut off.
But interested by E20R anyway.
I make no difference between 16340 vs 18350 based on the size. I tend to prefer 18350 for longer runtime.
Eagletac D25C Ti (thin tube wall) 16340 vs JetBeam RRT01 18350
I quite agree with you.
Of the Klarus I like the size, the difference with a 18350 is in this case evident, but the clip …. I like the layout of the clip of the jetbeam. The Jetbeam I like everything, but certainly its size and thickness put it already in the segment of the 18350.
The Klarus will be perfect with the JetBeam clip, the Jetbeam will be perfect with the diameter of the Klarus….
Nothing is perfect…… (only the zebralight SC5w MK II is perfect
