It should be better. Because of the aspheric lens, there is no loss of diffused light.
This, despite the difference in lumens in favor of C8.
For this little price you can try and compare it. Perhaps it is only a good host and you can use an other driver and an XP-L HI instead of the HD.
800L seems rather low for XPL right? need to be driven harder.
zoomies have quite bad heat dissipation capabilities i think.
