received this today. MT01.

and this yesterday

i am sure now you are tempted? Big Smile

Nope, not at all !

My first side switch flashlights.
I hadn’t bought flashlights for about 3 years except one eagle eye X6, i was mostly using P60 drop-in flashlights (modded with Tido’s “perfect modes”) + 1 HDS (100) SSC P4 high CRI + 1 eagletac D25C nichia 219B.

D4 ramping UI is very nice and easy to use, but not runtime-predictable. Would have liked to see a few shortcuts to fixed outputs but too many click combinations are already used.

This baby’s loaded with an XM-L2 T6 4C and a 7135×6 driver board running Biscotti. Pretty much my ultimate EDC until further notice Love

Well last week I got the Thrunite TN42 cold white and Noctigon Meteor M43 XP-G2 S4 3D
but I thought it could be fun to snap the other flashlights that I use for different purposes. Smile

I don’t get it: why dedome the LED in a multi-emitter torch, that gets no throw at all and so doesn’t benefit from the throw increase of de-doming? What’s the intended result?

(Also resized NVM, it’s po_anderson75’s images that are wreaking havoc with my browser)

Why not?

I have xpl HI in multi LED lights, …………….why not just use dome or HD versions. Each to their own, the hot spot is quite intense and throws a different more “throwy” beam over the 219c. Hot spot is more intense and spill not as wide. Not got an actual xpl HI in the D4 to compare with(have in other quads but p60 format).

It would be a good edition to have the auto re-size software some sites have, that way if on phone or monitor it works.

Ok I took them down to more moderate sizes. I’m used to forums that compresses images by default. Cool

To be honest I usually grab a compact light when I want a close up view of stuff with a floody beam, not so much centered but that’s me.

I needed a good and tiny light to have in my worker pants so I picked up the Olight.

Not a bad choice if you like the ultra-tiny size (pseronally, I find it awkward). Hope you’re happy with it Smile

I like the idea with a magnet in the back and that I can clip it on a cap.
If you, like me, on top of that want a floody type beam the options starts to shrink considerably. Smile

Nice light and photo! My OTR M3 is quite similar. I walk around with it at night, attached to my cap.

Cool lights those Emisars. Some really crazy outputs for their price.
Very clever with bigger buttons for those with bigger thumbs. Smile

A quick comparison to my smallest light.
