Sorry to be so brief, it’s late here and I’ll be signing back off to try and get some sleep, haven’t slept well as the drugs prevent sleep even while making me so groggy I can’t hardly move, weird how all that works, have spent at least 2 nights of the last 5 awake the entire night, feeling the burn as it were. Trying again not to take the meds, hoping to get some sleep….
See ya tomorrow, best wishes to our Floridians in the coming journey with Hurricane Irma…
I think we’re going to need more flashlights at this rate I had chimed in somewhat early checking to see if there’s a copper Tool AAA, but that was before Irma shifted on us - I’m in north FL. If we’re still around in a couple days, I’d still like to get a copper Tool.
Good to hear from you Dale. I know what you are going through with the sleep, not with the pain to anywhere near your extent though, my sympathies go out to you.
Dale, I think your idea of helping the Aransas County Sheriff’s Dept is spot on! While it may be tempting to “give” to Wal-Mart, I think I’d rather a local group get the funds. Especially with the situation you described where they are actually jumping in to help others even though they need help too.
Sent $50 for the Acebeam Ec35. Used ‘for goods & services’ since if PP looks at the message they can see it’s a payment for something and I wouldn’t want to see the relief account locked.
Get well soon. Hope your pain levels get under control even sooner, and that you get some sleep.
Major respect for your kind concern for storm victims. Take good care of yourself
I updated the list in the OP, also adding the sheet here to make it easier to find.
This is as of 9:34AM CST on 9.11.17 Edit: Correction to minocc’s purchase, sorry about that.
Thank you all very much for your concern, trying to be more sensible about what I attempt and will give myself more time… seeing the Surgeon on Wed so I may get chastised.
I’ve been notifying Neal of addresses, may be a bit much in the random format so I’ll have to get a spreadsheet built with all the pertinents on it to make sure he’s got everything in a easy to read format. The spreadsheet I made for y’all to see what was available and to confirm payment received was simple enough, can use a variation on that to send Neal I reckon.
We have raised $700.95 to date, and I started the account with monies that bring us up to $910.95. Every little bit is what turns into the pile that’s needed…
Remember folks, this is not about acquiring a flashlight on the cheap, it’s about helping people that were hit by a natural disaster and lost everything from their car to their home and food. We have over 20,000 members here on BLF, if every single member simply dropped a dollar in the pot, it’d make a difference.
Please feel free to simply give a couple of bucks, the price of a cup of coffee or a beer, to aid the rescue and repair in this disaster relief fund. In a Pay It Forward manner, imagine if it was you in the bind and people from all over were helping out, in various ways.
