"Hall of Shame" - flashlight vendors that spam or shill on BLF

Here at BLF, the rules are incredibly lenient toward commercial vendors of flashlight products. If they carefully follow the rules for commercial sellers, they can very easily establish a great business relationship with our huge audience of consumers of flashlight products. Unfortunately, there are still some vendors that choose the asinine method of ignoring the simple rules and posting spam and/or using shill tactics to try and get a foothold here. So I’m creating this thread as a quick reference to shame the vendors that do this.

Please AVOID DISCUSSIONS here, and just post the domain name and description of vendors that you have recently seen spamming threads or using shill tactics. For example:

Please DO NOT post the http:// or www. link to the site, as we don’t want to boost their Google ranking. And as a personal recommendation, I would suggest that you don’t buy from these vendors that show no regard for simple business ethics.

Most importantly, if a post clearly violates the Rules for Commercial Sellers, then please don't hesitate to hit the SPAM button! Then after doing so, please take a moment to take note of the name of the site and post it here. Thanks a lot!

This thread is not meant to discourage legitimate commercial activity on BLF according to the Rules for Commercial Sellers, but rather to promote awareness of the right and wrong ways of doing so.

(If you want to discuss a "Hall of Shame" entry at greater length, please do so here. Thanks.)

Thanks for the notice, Mr. Admin! They will all soon become fodder for the “Mark as SPAM” button. You know how I just love using that trusty little utility that you’ve bestowed upon us! Please dont create a script that takes care of this chore automatically… we will take care of it for you!!

:+1:

Isn’t this thread for flashlight vendors that spam or shill? Not just spammers in general? The useful info is being drowned out by general spammers, causing this thread to loose its credibility… but maybe that’s what you want?

I'll bring your questions to Mr. Admin's attention via PM.

Thanks for the question. Yes, Mike makes a good point, this thread is mainly for vendors that might interest our audience that have been caught spamming or shilling.
