Flashy Mike, in the case of the Q8 t is best to let us collect all questions so we can give it to people at Banggood who are at a level that something is actually can be done with it. Using the normal customer support is just one ticket that gets answered by a non caring person and that is it. Add a Question for Banggoog, I will put it in OP so others can see it is on the to be reported list and we will make sure it gets to management level of people who do care.
Up to you of course, spend a minute and make 1 post and know it reaches somebody who can and most likely will do something with it stress and frustration 0-1, or start a tedious customer support communication taking a lot of time and knowing the chances of it being really cared about being zero to none and chances of frustration are close to 100
I have a 4 times experience with the Priority mail shipping option of BG,and it is very good.Also,I pay for insurance whenever it is offered.So far,there is not any item lost,although I see that a parcel with 4pcs of 30Qs is delayed and unknown from 08/30,ordered at 08/23 by Priority mail.

For the record … received my Q8 day before yesterday. Switch beacon seemed to work correctly for a few cycles and is now deceased. I hope a fix can be provided with return and repair. Thanks and good luck with the remedy.
Since you seem to know the problem and the fix, can we BLF members enjoy the details of what is wrong with your Q8 :weary: ? By stating that your copy is DOA and then staying extremely vague, spreading panic is exactly what you seem to intend.

I believe my light is “A” typical. The wizards in production should be able to dissect and resolve the issue with a sample already in hand. I for one am not prepared to open up my semi functional beauty. I will leave that surgery to the pros.
mp isn't the issue; tiny phone cameras don't have the light collection to take good pics of low light. They get better at faking it with long exposures and software motion compensation, but nothing beats actual lens area. You can't take good photos without enough photons. Still, they are nice shots.
I actually bought the light through Aliexpress from Elfeland Outdoor Lighting Store. (Along with me about eleven other people placed an order through this site.)
I just read about the malfuncioning switch-led and the temporary halting of production.
Should I extend the Processing Time on my order on Aliexpress? Mine is at three days right now. If it reaches 0 my order wil automatically be cancelled and refunded.
As the customer I can extend the processing time for as long as I want, so the manufacturer has more time to ship to me.
With how many days should I extend the processing time, I’m not interested in a refund as I’m worried that the price will go up later.
I already bought 4pcs INR18650-30Q from Elfeland and the Liitokala Lii500 charger.

PS: I’m exited for this light, it’s actually my first real high lumen flashlight. Before I have only ever bought two Maglites (gave them to my parents) and a Trunite Ti3.
