Emisar D1

So far we’ve been talking about this light in the D4 review thread.
Let’s make a separate topic.

Who’s going to be the first to swap a dedomed SST40 in there? Should do 60+ kcd….

Here is beamshot of D1 compared with an d4 xpl-hi and a L2 with xhp35.

Is that better? L2 top left.D4 top right,D1 bottom left. It’s my first time trying images on here.

Nice pics JHW :+1:

Will throw a couple in as well

D4 xp-g2 4000k

D1 xpl HI 5000k

Not had change to get any decent pics, need to get out rain/time permitting where i can stretch its legs(so to speak)

If i could i would!! Sounds a beast, however i do like the 5000k HI as is, so i would need another

Sorry no beamshots yet, maybe I will make some later tonight if I can find time

:sunglasses:

Few random pics

Predator V’s D1…………….D1 wins!

Thanks Agro, I’ve been waiting for this thread! Just ordered the green one with XPL Hi NW yesterday, so I’ve got something to play with until the D4 is back in stock.

Ok I’ll bite, kinda bummed i didnt get to start the D1 thread :frowning:

Some random shots from tonight with iPhone 7. As we all know, its brighter in person.

Great pics :sunglasses:

Can anyone with the D1 and D4 to compare-

Which has the lowest moonlight level ??

Will this need a high drain battery?

Hard for me to compare, the D1 obviously has a tight hot spot still, lot more intense than the D4’s large hot spot. Both have different beam types.

Yes, the performance will be better when the voltage gets lower through use. You will get less sag for example if at 3.6v and hit the 100% outptut.

I use 30Q in my D1. Ideally any cell of 10a and over would work well . Not tested the amps, i might have read around 6a but not sure.

Finally a thread for the D1!

Whats the throw and lumens on the D1?

I love the D4 but I use it mostly as an extra light, srt-9 as primary. Thinking about getting the D1.

I got 6.03 amps on a 4.18v vtc6.

Thanks for the info
Big throw, little throw
