Will it realy work with two heads?

Have you read the mf01 thread?

There is already a video of two headed light working.

I’ll find a link and post it.

dayyymmmm i thought he photoshopped

I updated my post.

Now keep in mind that we don’t know if the MF02 head will have the same size and threads as the mf01, but it’s reasonable to assume it will.

I think it’s already been said that the MF02 will use the same 6v battery carrier as the mf01 along with a boost driver to get the 12v.

So in theory you could run a mf01 head on one end and a MF02 head on the other and both should work.

Love the dual headed light….too bad the combo is more expensive than I’d like….

ADDED:
Though the real deal breaker is the lack of intermediate beam.
A mix of probably the floodiest flooder around and nearly the throwiest of throwers.
I guess one would need a third light to do the most of the duty.

A three headed light?

I never considered the MF01 to be floody. It’s just a big hotspot with really weak spill.

Then the MF02 is a small hotspot with weak spill.

What would an intermediate light be? The Q8?

MF-01 has 4.5 cd/lm.
Q8 is 10 cd/lm.
MF02 has 240 cd/lm.

120 cd/lm would still be a dedicated thrower.
What would be the best middle light? 20 cd/lm? 30?

Add me to the list, please.

Okay. My L6 has a 22 cd/lm and I’d say it’s pretty good for my purposes.

I say forget trying to make one light do everything. Just get you three separate lights. That’s what I carry, a small, a medium and a large.
