Home Depot Deal Alerts & Discussion Thread

These batteries went to the “3” price just in time. I needed 2

This is another 9Ah Milwaukee deal. This time with a free “Skill” saw. Not as good a deal as the sawall, but still less than the battery and charger combo alone. And the saw is included. The next day they were gone!

Here is a blow up off how the 15 cell, 9Ah battery pack is constructed. It is a 5S3P configuration using 15 - 3Ah cells.

Always nice when they show you what the inside looks like before you grab a screwdriver

See, printing off that UPC code for the compressor and carrying it around pays off.

1. Walked into a Home Depot and checked their price.

$48 !

2. Now to see if they have any

They had 2. But they were marked at $123.00

3. Brought them up and checked out, ’cause I KNOW they will scan for $48

I also printed your bar code, and tried it at my work HD, right price, couldn’t find any. So I went to the home decor area and got an employee to check inventory. “oh that’s a closeout, and… We don’t have any.” “Could you check the local stores?” “Sure! Oh there are 15 at this one.” 20 minutes later I have verified the scan price and located them on the top shelf of the other store, 20 minutes after that, a guy finally got 2 of them down for me. As I walked away I told the group of employees who were ‘helping’ “this will ring up for 50 bucks - they are on clearance.” They didn’t believe me and came over with thier scanners - sure enough. Those 3 guys looked like they just came downstairs on Christmas morning when I told them there where still 13 left in the store.

Thanks again for the heads up!

Alright!
That’s how it’s done :+1:

I found a 3rd one, same way I found my first 2. Scanned the cutout UPC code, found that the price was $48.00 and then searched the store for one. This time the price tag was still at $123.00
BTW, this was the same store I mentioned earlier than scanned at $123.00. All it took was a couple of days and the price changed.

Again with the skills to find the deals… My local stores are picked clean long before they get that low.

HD has a so-called 3’ LED shop light for ~$15, (it’s only 33” long), i think dc mentioned them earlier, so i got one to test out—and it is a really bright stick of light.

It draws ~34W from the mains, puts out 3,000 lemons at 4000K with 80 CRI and comes with a 5’ power cord and two 9.5 inch chains for hanging. It does get really warm on the back side, almost too much to touch or hold. But it seems to be a good value with gobs of light for not too much $.

The sku is 1002-310-056, made in ver china for www.AcuityBrands.com.

I was in a HD today and the tool guy was talking about that miter saw deal. Some guy had come in, knew where they were and the price and bought them all.
I would LOVE to find that 40V Ryobi combo set for $33!

And that is also a NICE looking light, the price is even nicer!

Here is a series of pictures I took today.
They tell a story…………

Did you sell them or are they Christmas gifts

Y0ou bought nine air compressors?

Only 8, the fork lift guy wanted one!

Actually, I called the guy that first found 1 of these a few days, ago and he told me to “buy them all, we’ll figure it out later”

I don’t know what we will do with them
we’ll figure it out later.

I was lucky to find anything. My local HD is usually picked clean. I went again this week but there was nothing really. My dog got a nice walk out of it tho.

They did have a small glass bistro table for $12. But I have no use or place to store that. Plus I already have a nice table from Costco that was on clearance…

Nice find on those compressors. I would buy them all too. Lol

Guess he needed to top off a few tires and the local QuikTrip air pump was broken.

KuoH

Something to keep an eye on

I found the secret location for items with no home!

-Garry

That is beyond funny
If only my nearby stores had this!

BUT………………………………
You have to be careful!
Maybe they’er not homeless

I hadn’t thought to checkout the garden section in quite awhile.
Lately I have, and found this. 4 of the 40V Ryobi mowers out in Garden, no protection from rain.

I think I now know why I have been finding water damaged 40V batteries in the recycle bin.

Of the 4 mowers, 3 were 20 inch machines and were marked down 50% to $149
But there was a 16 inch machine that was 75% off, marked down to $49.

I found the battery and charger to that one in the grass catcher bag.

4Ah battery!
But I can see that it and the charger has gotten wet

So at the register I was sure to check everything out before I bought, and everything was good.
Happy with this one for sure :+1:
