A very high capacity cell in the new 21700 format.

The discharge curves tracks nicely and the battery has lots of capacity, but it is not a high current cell.

At 15A I have to stop the discharge early due to temperature

At 30A it gets hot fairly fast.

Conclusion

This battery has very good capacity, but is best used at 10A or lower for continuous usage.

Compare to 18650 and other batteries

It has nearly same capacity of decent 26650, amazing

Samsung 48G based. Overspecced cell.

This cell simply cannot be rated “48” at any discharge rate. :-P

Decent 26650, mrheosuper? To me a decent 26650 is the PLB 5000mAh (LiitoKala 26650-50A and the newer rewrap Lii-50A).

This is for everyone, not just for the aforementioned. Now go hit the “rude” button, you @#$%! Thanks! :-)

If we were to define capacity from a ≈1C standpoint, this cell's down to 2.8V rating is 4500mAh. It's power delivery ability is not even half of that of a 50A. Yes, it is smaller and lighter but, at what price?

I can buy two 50A cells for the price of this @#$%. No need to say @#$% else.

It is funny to see how quality chinese manufacturers are being more honest than Samsung, Panasonic/Sanyo and Sony.

Open your eyes, lads and lasses.

Cheers ^:)
