(while holding the lamp goes into strobes, thats normal)
hold for 3.2sec, after two short blinks and one blink, click twice.
The lamp continues to blink out configuration for RAMPING.

(you hold for a long time, if you ramp down it’s easier on the eyes)
hold for 8sec, after two short blinks and one blink, click once.
The lamp continues to blink out configuration for MODES.
Basically it’s holding the button till it blinks 2x and 1x and than a double click shuts RAMPING on. A single click shuts it off.
Now you can wait till the lamp is gone through the rest of the config menu. The lamp will blink four times short when finished.
Or
you do a click and hold till the lamp blinks four times.
I have to say that it took me quite a while to get past the fact that the first two blinks just meant that it was in configuration. I thought it meant config section 2.1, 2.2… Couldn’t figure out where I was in the menu until I ignored the first 2.
Mia arrived on Friday, the switch lights up badly, and it only turns on turbo, it does not act, it lights up, but I can not change modes, I’ve cleaned it inside and changed batteries, I do not have as much knowledge as you and I do not make yourself repaired .
Royo - yours sounds like something is defective with your Q8. If Turbo comes on immediately upon applying power, and the switch does nothing, there is a grounding/short problem or bad soldering, bad chip, something along those lines.
It sounds like you cannot do further trouble-shooting, so I have to leave this up to The Miller, sorry.

My first Q8 to ship cleared Customs on the 7th, shows up now as having arrived at the FedEx facility at 3AM this morning. So it took 3 days to get from Customs to FedEx? Wow, I will expect it to arrive here on March 3rd, 2018.
It seems mine is on the roundabout route from FedEx. They just delayed expected delivery another day

I think a lot of us are in that situation. My light also “shipped” on 9/29. However, there was a major Chinese holiday the first week of October so basically everything came to a standstill. With any luck they will actually have movement this week and be in US customs next week.
Small world! Although mine took a more direct route, when it arrived in Clinton the estimated delivery was pushed back a day as well. It showed it departed smartpost to Aliquippa usps at 4:30AM the morning of the original delivery date but didn’t actually get to usps until around 4:00PM.
