Need Help!! Cr123a may have leaked????

I bought 2 re-branded Dorcy super 1 watt LED lights from Ebay. I received them today, and opened one of the lights and took out the Cr123a battery that came with it in the package. The battery had rust at the wrapper seam and did not look right. I immediately placed it back in the package and washed my hands with soap and water. Put rubber gloves on and took the other light out of the package, and placed them in a zip-lock baggie.

Doubled wrapped the the batteries and clam-shell packaging in heavy plastic and disposed of them.

Am I going to die? Only handled the battery for one or two seconds.

Not sure what type of brand they are.
Sorry no pictures, did not think about it till it to late.

What should I do with lights? Throw them away

Sorry for the long ramble, but it scared the S@*T out of me. Never had cr123a’s leak (if that is what it was doing)

Any help or advice is welcome!!

Please forgive my spelling and grammar, I’m still worried.

Relax,

The danger is in breathing the gas released when they vent aka “Explode”.

As that did not happen you are good to go.

washing your hands did not hurt either.

but relax you will die from some other issue.

Your fine. Well your are how you were before the batteries arrived, I’m not sure if that was fine or not, but you the same just older.

As far as the lights go you can get more Cr123 or RCR123 aka 16340 Li-on batteries. Heck I like that size light for lots of stuff.

LOL!!! Well I was in bad shape before I opened the lights, so no more harm done, LOL

Thank you very much for you help!!! How should I clean the lights?
