Imalent DX80 32000 lumen monster

What’s the name of this ceiling bounce app?
Anyone has a link?

Lux meter on the Google Play Store worked well for me. It saves the maximum figure recorded so you can go back and look at it. I don’t know how accurate it is as it will depend on the hardware calibration of the light sensor on your phone, but it is great for comparison.

For runtime graphs it works on my new Android 7 phone, but didnt on the Android 5 device before that

Thank you hIKARnoob. I love Imalent.

If those just came in, can you take pics of the chargers.
The first of several of my friends that ordered should get his very soon also. He is wondering if the charger issue has been corrected.
He already has a 19v laptop charger ready to go if needed

I am impressed with the light output and reliable runtime of this thing. My Imalent DX80 is very bright and reliable.

After nearly 3 mths of waiting with a pre order with gearbest then swapped to banggood, my DX80 finally arrived!
It is bright all right and so far that is just inside during the day.

I charged it up using the Imalant charger and although it did get warm it made it through the cycle.
We are on 240v here in Australia, so maybe it is the 110v power that is causing failures.

That seems to be the pattern.

Great photos Pchri12 and thank you.

I got them to load. Imgur can be hard to get the pics to show up.

Another great

video

Pretty impressive how a 16000 lumen Acebeam is destroyed just like that… :smiling_imp:

Haha thanks

Pchri12, very nice and clear comparison. Thanks.

This is what 1 person said on the site about that app,-

Google Play - Lux Meter
Has very limited range I have a very bright flashlight that I was hoping to test, but in anything brighter than a 100w lamp it reads 6000lx and will not go higher. On footcandles it stops at 558ftc. If you want to read relatively low light levels, then this would be a great app.

There must be a way I can test my flashlights at home ,

Increase distance to reduce lux. Then do comparative measurements.

Do a ceiling bounce with the flashlight and phone on the floor?

Yes, I agree, Pchri12 posted some great pics!

And that video that was posted here by NikolaS is a must see.
Here it is again.

To those doubters that have so far passed on this light for what I consider silly reasons, that video will at least make them want to get one.
To those that are waiting for another manufacturer to come out with another light with perhaps active cooling (a must), all I can say is I have the DX80 now, and boy is it FUN.
AND, at least for now the price is right with the right coupon codes. We may never see prices like that again!

Who are you talking about and what are the silly reasons?
