Nitecore SRT5, it was quite far from perfect but it was my very first flashlight.

I’m a bit uninformed about Astrolux lights given that I have only had 1, so I’d just say you should go with the suggestions from our dear BLF reviewers.
PS: btw what does ‘tucao’ mean?
1) I bought Astrolux S1, S2, S41, S42 and MF01.
2) I like my MF01 with Nichia 219C ( first batch) most.
3) I hope the MF02 have the specs wich Astrolux have posted.

well, make sure the 1st version of any new lights in future doesnt need to be repaired much like the old astrolux

Bought the S41 a while ago, unfortunately the driver gave up after approx. 4 months. Need to fix this light but never had the interest to actually do it.

S42 would be my next favorite, not sure about quality.

I think the lights are good. A new Astrolux BLF special would be cool.

Any comments or suggestions to Astrolux lights (link is external) (Products, shipping methods, features, after sale, returns or other policies and so on) Please keep developing new flashlights, some are good designs in principle, but test them out thoroughly yourself before releasing them, stop using your customers as guinea pigs for finding the design blunders.

I’ve got some info that Astrolux is building massive flooder like Imalent DX80, with 40K lumens, and must say that’s what I’m imagining for your next project. Just do it right and with decent price like MF01/02 it can be a winner

Doing good, keep the prices low.
1. Astrolux A01 (Nichia) and MF01 version 2 (Nichia). I have ordered a S42S (Nichia) that’s on its way and I have pre ordered a MF02 (4000k-4500k XHP35 Hi).
2. They all have it’s purpose but I like the MF01 best right now.
3. How about start using the NarsilM ui or a modified version of it?
I wish the S42S (well, the MF01 to) that are on its way that I ordered had NarsilM ui and I know it’s possible to get it by removing the MCU from the driver and use that board as a slave to get the USB charging to work and then use a Texas Avenger driver with NarsilM to power the light but unfortunately I’m not one of those skilled people who knows how to do it or have the soldering skills to do it.

1. None yet. I’ve come close to buying the M02 a couple of times but the reported quality control issues and the switch design put me off. On a keyring light I’d rather have some other mechanism that wasn’t vulnerable to becoming undone and lost if turned off in haste.
2. Probably the Rainbow Nichia S42S with long battery tube.
3. The colourful and shiny range is a strong selling point of Astrolux, so many other brands only do black. The LEDs with good quality light (Nichias) and warm(ish) white options are also great.
There aren’t many Alkaline options in the Astrolux range, mostly just small fiddly torches for short use. A larger D or 4xAA model putting out 300-500 lumens would be nice. Something like the now discontinued Lumintop SD10 but in better colours.
Here in the UK the import tax threshold is £15 which puts it just below the sale price of a lot of models. While the tax itself is fairly small (20%), delivery companies tend to charge the recipient £10-15 to put a parcel through customs, which makes the light much more expensive. More stock at the EU warehouse or the ability to pre-pay customs so the delivery companies couldn’t charge extra would make the current prices work much better.
20% tax is “small”!?
Really like my S3, S2, S42S, MF01’s and looking forward to the MF02!
