ENEDED

They were selling it below the costs (probably) with very limited stock (only 10 pieces snap-up) to arouse intrest .

A lot products are selling way below cost price for marketing purpose. All 10pcs were snap up at a instance, this showed that buyer appreciate its value greatly.

Does anybody know of any good holsters that would fit this light? I bought a holster that was meant for a Manker M34? Not sure, but anayway, my astrolux MF-01 does not fit in it, it’s tiny bit small for the astrolux. I’ve been searching online all over, but I cannot seem to find a holster would fit this light. It would really be helpful if astrolux would include, or recommend a holster for this light.

Thank you for any help.

Have you searched this thread? Many holsters have been recommended.

Is this too big??

This and this may fit.

Change point in V2.(left is V1,right is V2)
Illumination will not turn red at TURBObeam.

The color of the spring is different&double.(My stuff is Phillips head screws…)

The endcap is black.

The tube logo is unchanged.

Changes in wiring are visible.(Driver is also different.)

In TURBObeam V2 looks slightly darker even by visual inspection.
The color temperature is V2 is slightly lower.

Chrome(web browser) does not display color correctly.
I was able to confirm that imgur.com also changed color.
Therefore we will display from Yahoo!.

Camera settings, battery (Samsung INR18650-30Q 3000mAh), battery holder are using the same thing.
Of course it will be a comparison after charging.(left is V1,right is V2)

Like Tally-ho,I’m a disappointed is 219C V2
I do not know whether it is dispersion of 219C or ASTROLUX change.
However,S42(219C) also has dispersion.

Russian roulette 219C?
Since I want to purchase again, can I have a freeme code?

Yes, I’ve seen this holster on banggodd. It’s too big. But thanks for the suggestion anyways.

I don’t have V1 so I have nothing to be or feel disappointed about… all I know is my Nichia 219C is pretty awesome!

According to google map, that tree far away is 67 meter (220ft) away from where I’m standing, and this thing just lit it up!
Can’t see anything…

Oh hey tree!

My V1 is completely black on the inside. Oh man, I wonder how I’m going to dig V2… :sunglasses:

Can you put me in the list? Thanks

Got my second MF-01 today. It is v2. The tint is a little less pink, more yellowish compared to v1, though the difference is really small, I can’t see it on photos.

Don’t have an integrating sphere but my impromptu meter (luxmeter in Xperia Z3 Compact + ceiling bounce) showed (med1 / / med2 / / high/high after stepdown / / turbo) 43 / / 82 / / 201/120 / / 625 lux. On nearly drained battery it was 26 / / 64 / / 181 / / 420.

12cm fan with 9V placed close to light was enough to keep it on turbo without much reduction in brightness: The brightness during discharging: Imgur: The magic of the Internet (in a slightly different place, so the lux values are slightly lower). The batteries weren’t fully charged, I have realized it after starting test… I will repeat it after with 4,20V 30Qs

I don’t exactly know if the overdischarge protection works well - after inserting nearly depleted batteries (3,05V without load) breathing light started on green, only after turning on suddenly dropped to blinkling red. And still was able to get 2/3 of total turbo output, so the voltage on load should drop below 5,8V… unfortunately can’t measure exact voltage on load. But it should be ~0.5V drop at least…

The button is only a battery indicator when the light is on. In off it is only a locator breathing light that is always green. I find this to be an unfortunate feature.

but with turbo output and ~6000 lumens (2/3 of turbo output on full batteries) batteries that have 3,05V without load surely drop way below 2,9. And on 2,9 per cell it should turn off.

With a little cooling (a 120mm computer fan, driven with 9V, close to light) it can sustain close to 3000 lumens output with only a slight drop (rather due to voltage drop than thermal stepdown).
This is the output chart (same cheap method as before phone luxmeter + ceiling bounce) on high with fully charged 30Qs . Two last spikes are from mode cycling, first is a fluke. After last mode cycle the light started to blink red, so I turned the light off. The battery voltage was 3,1 unloaded, so I assume the light start to blink red below advertised 6,1V… unfortunately I don’t have lab PSU, and can’t check it exactly.

Not fitting.

Hmmm. On my V2 the light turns red at 3.7V resting voltage + turbo = 3.4V (=0.3V sag). which is good. There is red and red blinking. Red blinking should occur under 3.05V, so does this mean your light does not turn red at all (3.05 < V < 3.4)? LVP kicks in at 2.8V from what I’ve read, and according to HKJ’s comparator at 10A with 30Q, you can get turbo output (close call though) with 3.05V resting voltage, resulting in a tad over 2.8V (with turbo).

The lower opening is too small. these are conical holsters for long flashlights that come out from the bottom hole: https://www.aliexpress.com/item-img/MAXTOCH-Flashlght-Flexible-Size-Nylon-Holster-Flashlight-Bag-Suitable-for-Most-Large-Size-Flashlights-Free-shipping/32601427375.html?spm=a219c.10010108.1000017.2.37b29a39QEYBSh#

It is a nice explanation :+1: 219C is out of stock. Will the hits come next product?
We purchased the XP-G3 that we had stock in the meantime.Thank you freeme.

Thank you for letting me know

219c will be again available on Nov.29

I bought XP-G3 yesterday, are they already shipped the version without problems?
