He’s wonderful…

Grand Funk Railroad - Inside Looking Out, 1969

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel - Best Years of Our Lives, 1975

Love this song…

I am so glad i an not growing up on the garbage they play today, my collection span from 1928 to 1980, and the types from Vivaldi to Metallica, but as a Dane with a working mind i have been listening to a lot of blues.

Over the years, I have liked and probably forgot many bands and songs, but iconic Tobacco Road has its own place in my mind since I’ve heard it as a teenager performed by Edgar Winter:

and in concert with brother Johnny:

I still remember how I found Johnny, looking for who the best solo guitar performer was then - Jimi, Ritchie, John McLaughlin, etc.

sparkyDK, Supermax had their brilliant career, but they had a bad start here in Bulgaria. During their first visit (1980) the frontman Kurt Hauenstein said he has never heard of Bulgaria. Not bad, depending on the intellect, education, and the work he does.
However, they created a new unique style at that time.
From Yellow Chronicle

One of his (Kurt) revelations from his recent years:
If one day you crash with 200 km/h in a sports car for 100,000 euros and crash while some playmates you doing bl**job - you have managed to achieve everything in this world!

You guys listen to good tunes. My kinda folks.

Sage advice indeed…

RIP Malcolm Young, now on his way on the Highway To Hell…

It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock’n’roll…

Bad news, unfortunately.
We know the direction is only one, only the stops are different …

Saw Alexis Korner back somewhere around 1970. I was an acid-fueled youngster then and went to concerts every week. Cheap then. $5 would get you a good seat. Saw quite a few great performers that I couldn’t yet appreciate. Korner, J.J. Kale, Long John Baldry, Boz Scaggs, etc. They kinda bored me. Not the acid rock I was looking for. Sure wish I could do it over again.

Well , you’re certainly a breath of fresh air, aren’t you? Pretty full of yourself? Gotta be great to be you.

I was speaking in retrospect—shit that happened over 40 years ago. I was speaking to some degree in regret about having missed the elemental qualities of great performers because of my youth and the drug influences. I think I made that kinda clear. But since my behavior was “technically bad” , I’m tainted for life, huh? Thanks for sitting in the judgement seat. I’m sure you’ve lived your life as pure as the driven snow, right?

My guess it’s just the newest incarnation of a recently banned troll.

Oh, so we have those here too, huh? Thanks for the heads-up.

Luckily it is a very rare occurrence on BLF. This is one of the best communities you’ll find.

Not often you see a poster in the attack mode after 2 days membership on a forum.

Well in the old and good days people blew their brain out with loud rock and roll garnished with every drug they can get their hands on.

People do the same today with pictures of cupcakes on their phones, so i ask you who is stupid.

Hope no need to clarify who he is …
One of the Greatest in Rock - Greg Lake.

Unfortunately, more and more often we (my generation) say RIP, when mention some of our favorite performers.

Ramones - Live at the rainbow 1977 dec31
Best 26 minutes on YouTube imo
40 years old today!

Bullseye! :+1: Thanks!

Never forget Ramones with the new style and sound that they gave us from the late 70s. And all their career …
And only Debbie Harry stayed close to Joey, as far as I remember.
